Casual dining with exceptional quality and service. Indoor and outdoor seating available with gorgeous views of the ocean and Haleakala. Some of the best sunset views on island, with a warm welcoming atmosphere and AC. Sundays feature a stacked breakfast menu. Happy hour is 1-5 daily. Gilligans sports a full menu for lunch and dinner along with 20 specialty cocktails, and 8 ice cold beers on tap. Venue also hosts entertainment events such as comedy and live bands. Currently we have live music at least 3 nights a week. It is available for rent as a spectacular wedding and reception venue, or any other private party. Gilligans opened September 2021 after a complete kitchen renovation. Get marooned at Gilligans, you will not be disappointed.

We have been to many different luaus over the years, this one was quaint and personable. After a bit of mis communication on seating arrangements, the owner accommodated us very graciously. The food was very good and plentiful! The one thing I would suggest is that the dessert try to be served colder. Those mousse desserts served colder would be fantastic! The servers were very attentive. The singers and performers were fabulous that ended with a fire dancer. The drummer even invited our 4 year old grandson up to join him. We will return again in the future!

Absolutely beautiful scenery overlooking the ocean, island, and gorgeous golf course. I went to the luau. Loved to watch the sunset with some great entertainment. The food and refreshments are what you expect from a buffet.

We attended the Maui luau at Gilligan’s, and had such a wonderful time! The food was delicious. The entertainment FIRST class! What a show! Even through the pain and heartache of what is going on here right now! Just beautiful ❤️. We want to give a warm shout out to the local artist Jeff who jumped right in to help us out with an Uber to get home, versus the city bus. And thanks to Randall, the Uber driver for getting us back to the hotel safe and sound!

We decided to give this place a try for our Luau. We got the general admission and had a great time. They started off with some wonderful Hawaiian music and very tasty buffet served dinner. We had a little bit of everything. Teriyaki chicken, Mahi Mahi and pulled pork as well as a mix of vegetables and sides. Everything was delicious. Then the MC took the stage and told an intricate story of the culture and traditions of Hawaii. We learned all about the culture while the stories were told through song and dance. They finish with a magnificent fire dancer who was amazing!! I highly recommend a luau at Gilligan’s.

(Luau experience) didn’t seem very organized, everyone was clustered at the entrance and no employees where asking if everyone had checked in. The food was just okay, most of it was on the bland side. The drinks were inconsistent sometimes you could taste the alcohol and sometimes it just tasted like mixer. The server for the table originally asked what we wanted to drink and she did not take not of what was asked so she kept asking a total of 4 times what we ordered to drink. She apologized and then she never came back and another server helped us out and she was able to do a better job but even she forgot what the table ordered. I personally believe if it’s that hard to place a order for a table then she set up a bartender outside with the buffet at least for the first drink. The only reason I did not give a 2-star rating was because the performers were excellent. They’re the only thing keeping this thing together.

We were kind’ve bummed that we couldn’t book the Old Luau in Lahaina where we had been to very many times. But we did find Gilligans. After reading mixed reviews, we felt we were taking a gamble on this new luau. Then we were bummed again that all vip seating was sold out.

Excellent service , people oriented staff I like good ordered and served meals with a friendly home style smile makes you feel welcome real comfortable. The food tI’ve eaten there has been delicious and filling you will find an atmosphere filled with happy people and my wife who is hard to please on all corners says how can you not love the place the bathrooms are spotless. Clean friendly and delicious. Prices are really good in relation to quality and quantity. Thx Gilligan’s for making our 45th feel like a hole in one.
