Food was great! First time with this restaurant, second time ordering on the virtual hall site. Gillespie was incredibly faster than the first restaurant that i did. Once I notified that I was there, I was greeted by someone who told me they were almost ready with my food. The food was amazing and the plate was filled!!! I was full all day. The flavor was there, everything was seasoned. I would definitely recommend

The food was very delicious. Seasoned well. I ordered the 3 piece fried fish with an extra piece of fish with macaroni and cheese and black eye peas as my sides. It also came with two pieces of white bread. The portion sizes were big!! I was able to save some for later. I definitely recommend this place!

This place is SO FREAKING GOOD!!! they went above and beyond with this food, it’s hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned and the portions are huge which was so surprising bc the price is relatively low! (plate w fries and fish had already been chowed down on in second pic but those fries were piled HIGH when we opened it) DoorDash forgot our Sweet Tea we had ordered with it (we weren’t going to say anything/ report it to DoorDash because the food had way more than made up for the lost drink) but one of the lovely ladies that works for GG drove to our place and hand delivered a tea to us with apologies from the owner herself! I have NEVER experienced customer service going so above and beyond for someone. We can’t wait to make Gillespie Grill our new weekly lunch spot. I can’t believe we didn’t try this place out sooner.

Everybody can’t get that right amount of crisp on the Mac n Cheese. This was perfect right down to the white bread. My porkchop was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. This is my first time visiting since they moved. I will definitely be back. I like the new process as well. The ladies out front were very helpful.

This was my first time coming to Gillespie Grill and it will most certainly NOT be my last. The food IS amazing. The service is excellent and served with a smile. My order was fried chicken wings, green beans and macaroni and cheese. I enjoyed it all. Thank you so much.

Heard about Gillespie Grill on the radio (102Jamz)! Highly recommend it! Got the fish plate and pork chop plate. With Mac n cheese. Exceeded my expectations. Everything was seasoned well, hot, and fresh! Very nice portions as well! Will be back again!

Unaware that the establishment was not open on Thursdays I went ahead to the website and placed an order (remember they are NOT open on Thursday). Then I check my account and they money has been deducted from my account and you’re not even open. When I get to the restaurant to pick up my food and remember I did NOT know they weren’t open no one was there. So an employee from a restaurant that also shares a common space with them came out and told me they weren’t open. I started to explain to her what had happened and she looks at me and says “when we’re not open, we turn the system off so you can’t place an order. So you’re saying their system still let you place an order and took the money out of your account and they’re NOT even open?” YES that’s exactly what I’m saying. You have lost a long standing customer and they phone calls, emails, and Facebook messages all go UNANSWERED!!!!

This is the best food I have tasted at a restaurant in a very long time. I had lemon pepper wings, green beans, and mac n cheese. If you want to taste the flavor in you food, want it nice and hot, and good potion sizes, then I highly recommend you give them a try. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!…I will be eating here every time I’m in town!
