I’ve never had to walk out on a meal before, the salsa was literary crushed tomato. Beef was not cooked thoroughly and food was incredibly bland. When I asked for some help on the bill they refused and we hadn’t ate much (I took one bite of mine) I slammed the door on the way out and waiter came running after me yelling obscenities. Absolute trash, no onion, no cilantro. I got extra of both. Then didn eat told them of their mistake took my plate an replaced it with a $30 bill. (I had margarita, which was good). Also who puts lettuce ans cilantro on a quesadilla.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. I think it’s time to let them know how I feel. The food is delicious. My favorite dishes are the Carne Asada platter and the beef burrito. The Carne Asada is full of flavor and the homemade flour tortillas are the best. When I am preparing home cooked Mexican food I come to Gilberto’s to get my flour tortillas. They also serve the best refried beans. The meats in their beef burrito and their pork enchilada are so tender and yummy!

The food was awful. A couple bites taken by each person. When we asked for the bill and to have it reduced due to the food being gross and no one eating they refused. Do not recommend unless you enjoy eating raw beef and fatty steak.

This place was incredible. Hands down the best Mexican food in Roseburg. Crazy fast service, all handmade food including the taco shells and beans, and just so delicious. If you are even thinking about going to a different Mexican restaurant in Roseburg don’t do it.

Looking to hit all the Mexican places in the area over the next couple months and this is where we are getting things started. The service was solid and our hosts were very attentive. The wait for the food to arrive at the table was average and both plates contained average portion sizes. Ingredients were fresh and cooked well but my wife and I were both in agreement that the flavors was very bland. If I were rating on flavor alone I would have given it just a 2.5 star rating (rounded up to 3). But the customer service was good enough to pull the overall experience to 3.5 (rounded up to 4). In all honesty, I don’t think I will be going back, but the final decision on this won’t be made until after we visit most of the other Mexican food places in the area.

The grilled fish tacos were very good. My husband’s chimis were good but the salsa, rice and beans were very disappointing. The salsa had no flavor, and they gave us a dish of what seemed to be pureed tomatoes. My margarita tasted mostly of the mixer, although it was big. The service was pleasant.
