Was staying in a motel nearby, so we had breakfast here 4 days in a row. The ambiance is excellent. The set -up is resort-like with outdoor seating under canvas canopies, look one direction: You see the sun worshippers and kids by the pool, the other direction gives you spectacular views of the nearby hills. The breakfast menu was excellent and certainly better than anything you could expect to get nearby

The food was unimpressive and did not meet my expectations. It was simply OK. My favorite dish was the chicken croquettes. I also got the smoked salmon crispy rice, truffle pasta, and branzino. It was strange that there was so much sauteed mint on the branzino. I would have preferred sauteed spinach or some vegetable instead.

Gigis has a beautiful patio and a very classic Palm Springs interior (palm tree wallpaper, cool lighting, neon sign, etc). The cocktails here are super interesting – they put a twist on a bunch of classic cocktails. We got the flamingo spritz and the girl from ipanema and really enjoyed both! The flamingo spritz came in a glass with a flamingo on it which was super fun! The restaurant is also connected to the Sonder V pool!

Super cute. The potatoes were so good and seasoned. The drinks were cute and good. I had the espresso martini. I like the French toast but my friends said it was too eggy. And then for the steak and eggs my friend got steak chunks. So she had to order a side of steak.

This review is a tough one because I’m somewhat conflicted about my experience.

I was staying at the Sonder, which Gigi’s is essentially attached to. I wanted to grab something quick and simple for lunch so took the two minute walk across the parking lot. It was a really great atmosphere and the restaurant itself was beautiful.. I ordered Gigi’s Caesar Salad which is baby gem lettuce, green goddess, crispy white anchovies and shaved parmesan. For something so simple, it was absolutely delicious. And the service was outstanding. The whole staff was really attentive to the needs of everyone in the restaurant. I also heard from a few locals that the Brunch is amazing. Will have to go back!

Great ambience, good food, and friendly and attentive staff (we had a really nice waiter who kept an eye on our water the whole time which was so appreciated). The only drawback is price. $17 bloody mary and $23 avocado toast. Seems high – even for Palm Springs. Still worth the splurge once in a while!

Yes, I agree with most of the previous reviews, and 4.1 is pretty much right. It seems like this new place has some kinks to work out. It is an open-air space, but at lunch, the heat is very unpleasant. They need fans (inside) and water misters to cool it off big time. Don’t get the smoked salmon sandwich unless you like raw salmon and a mouthful of vegetables. Staff needs to be trained to do more follow-up with customers to see how everything is. It is an attractive space. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are through a door to go outside. Very limited menu, and prices are too high. They could fix this by offering less expensive appetizers to complement the main course. $18 for 4 hotdog slivers with breading (while they did taste good) seemed a bit outrageous, I would say $9 would have been a more appropriate price. If they expect to expand their business to Palm Springs local residents, they will need to make some changes in order to survive.
