Gialina is a small family run restaurant where impossibly thin but sturdy pizza can be found. My father in law recommended them to us and while I can’t say anything for the pasta because we haven’t tried it, every pizza we’ve had has been incredible. From constant standbys to more creative fare (we had a peach pizza most recently)- it is all great. We’ve also enjoyed the vast majority of salads and appetizers. The only item I wouldn’t have again is the meatballs – they weren’t bad but I’ve just had better elsewhere. Excited to have more pizza of theirs soon.

Good neighborhood pizza place in Glen Park. Pizza is very good and it’s always busy especially during the weekends. The mushroom truffle pizza was very tasty although I don’t like raw veggies (arugula) on my pizza, I just had to move the greens aside to have the slice the way I prefer. Margherita is my partner’s favorite, but I am not a fan of their margherita pizza.

What a spot. Great place to catch up with a friend during the week.

We love Gialina, and not just because it’s our neighborhood pizza place. The pizza is excellent, although definitely much better for dine-in than take-out. Freshness is key. All the pizzas are fantastic and we appreciate that the menu changes with the seasons.

Pizza was amazing, the crust the crunch and everything in between was great. The tiramisu is also recommended!

The food was an 8/10 and the service was a 2. The pizza had the right proportion of sauce to crust to toppings. As for our server (lady with the back tattoos) if a fly landed on her face, it would have died. She showed up to our table only when she had to. No hospitality no smiles just business. She’s more fit to be a lunch lady than a server. But I wouldn’t be that insulting to a lunch lady.

The pizza was good. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a wide-open window with the outside temperatures being in the low 50s and the front of the house refused our polite request for it to be closed… So we were cold throughout our dinner. I did not feel well cared for here

Pretty good food. This is a restaurant. It’s got great pizza although I’d have to say not “kids” pizza. The meatball on the polenta is awesome.
