GIA MIA’s focus is chef-driven, farm-to-fork food concepts such as traditional Neapolitan style wood-fired pizzas, creative small plates, fresh pasta, antipasto, and hand-made mozzarella. Fondly named after owner Brian Goewey’s youngest daughter, Gianna, GIA MIA is a family destination for dining in, taking it to go, dining al fresco on our seasonal patios, or hosting events onsite or offsite with our mobile brick oven. Our tasty menu is what delights our guests and keeps them coming back for more.

I completely misjudged this place. They seemed a bit particular when I walked in, but they proved to have excellent service and their food is amazing. I’ve had oysters Rockefeller in many places around the world and these might be the best I’ve ever had. Very kind people too.

Had a great night here with the family. We walked in on a overcast night and we’re able to grab a table for 7 with ease. Service was a little slower than usual but this could have been due to the storms earlier and cutting staff early. Overall we had a pleasant experience and always live up to my expectations. Highly suggest the ricotta + honeycomb & prosciutto + burrata starters. Will be back next time I’m in town!

5-31-23. While visiting Naperville, someone suggested we try this restaurant so we stopped by for a late lunch. The beautiful building has undergone a very good restoration/repurpose with indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted and seated by a friendly hostess and our waitress took very good care of us. We shared two appetizers and an entree. The presentation and taste of each item was near perfection! My only regret was that there was no freshly grated parmesan nor fresh baguette . My fault for not asking. We will gladly return on a future trip to Naperville.

One of the the best Italian food in Naperville downtown. This is the second time I’m visiting this restaurant and never disappointed. My fav are Zucchini fries. Yummy food in historical building . Service is good . They have kids menu too . Loved their virgin mojito. Apologize my pizza photos we were super hungry so forgot to take pictures before eating

Amazing historical building! The high ceiling with the exposed original wooden beams is architectural perfection! The restaurant and bar are comfortable and enjoyable. The menu is packed with mouth watering dishes. My favorite is the lunch special an individual pizza and a small salad. Perfect portions and delicious! One of my favorites in downtown Naperville!

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve had in my life. The vodka pasta is amazing. Wish the portions were bigger. The honey ricotta bread was good, but super easy to make at home. Wish they gave free bread like true Italians. The pasta was just too good I can’t take away a star though.

Nestled in the Old Nichols Library building is a great Italian restaurant. The dining room has fantastic decor showcasing the historic brick work and old wooden beams.

Food is really good! Nice ambience. Our server was good but she was overwhelmed with too many customers.

Excellent bar and the staff was attentive, courteous and friendly. Atmosphere is very comfortable as the dinning area is clean and organized. The Fig and Prosciutto Toast (see the pic) was over the top delicious! The chicken in the chicken parmesan unfortunately was a bit over cooked and dry. It had a “processed” flavor and was not at all at the same level as everything else. I would rate everything else 5 star. The customers really seemed to be enjoying themselves too.
