Doing this review for Webb City, it did not give me the option to put the review for Webb City. love this place!!! I couldn’t wait for them to open and I went and ate there yesterday. So happy! Great customer service in a great environment. Everything was clean! (The photo of my tacos looked better but my box was sling around for a turn or two in my car) Haha. I’ll definitely be returning.

Here’s my problem with this place…base taco price is $3.50…fine, it’s a small street taco but it’s pretty good. But wait, I don’t have a complete taco at that price, I only have a tiny tortilla and a spoon full of meat and a little sauce. Now I add a few shreds of cheese for $0.75, a tiny amount of onion for $0.75, a dollop of sour cream for $0.75, and a pinch of cilantro for $0.75…now I have a tiny street taco that costs $6.50. I can easily eat 5 of these. That’s a total of $32.50. now I get a side of rice and beans and a soda and I’m looking at what?…$40 for lunch? That’s a joke. Good luck with that. We won’t be back…ever.

Finally tried them for the first time today. My only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner. I have been missing out! But no more. If you haven’t tried Ghetto Tacos yet quit putting it off! Friendly people here as well. Also, these are traditional Mexican style Tacos. Not the kind you find at the Taco “chain.” Those are OK. But why settle for OK when you can get better here! Thank You Ghetto Tacos!

Nice employees, but that’s the only compliment I can give. I’m from Tulsa, moved here August of last year, and have not been able to find authentic street tacos. Decided to try them out and was totally baffled at the prices and the portions. $3.50 a taco?!?!?! Most expensive street taco I’ve ever seen, including when I go to LA and get them there. Not only are they $3.50 a taco, but it’s one corn tortilla instead of two. Which it’s always that way anywhere I’ve ever gone. $1.50 is the most I’ve ever paid for a street taco and that’s the typical price. For 3 tiny tacos and two ramekin sized bean and rice, I paid $17 ($2 tip). The rice was disgusting – no flavor and mushy. Beans seemed like they were the dehydrated kind that you add water to. This meal should not have been priced at more than $6. I can not say I’ll be back or can recommend to people, but I wish them luck.

I love this place, the steak tacos are my favorite! But the street corn is . I’m really excited to try the new additions to the menu like the crunch wrap! They make it so easy to check the food truck schedule, they post it at the beginning of the week on Facebook! If the food truck isn’t out or is away from Joplin I drive over to their new location in Webb City! Seriously great food and super nice owners and staff! 10/10
