GG’spot is a new, low key, chill spot. The food was pretty good. Especially, their pineapple dish! I feel the fried chicken needs a little more seasoning, but it was piping HOT when brought out which was a plus. The drinks are decent, the pour is moderate. There’s plenty of parking and the owner is super friendly. I can only expect for this place to get better as they are pretty good now. Good vibes

Nice location. Owner, very nice and gorgeous! The food is good. The music on Friday and Saturday nights is good. Bartenders are very nice and gorgeous. The drinks are fair , and slot machines are available.

The most delicious catfish I’ve had until tonight was at Callaway Gardens resort in Pine Mountain Georgia. It was so good I’ve been trying to get back but now that I just ate at this great spot blocks from my home, I can honestly say G Spot is tops! I kind of wanted to keep it a secret so they don’t become famous too soon. But locals near Oak Lawn should run to G Spot and try it. A great local spot and I’ll be a regular. Wow! 6 Stars! Keep it up G Spot.

GG’s Spot Bar & Grill is owned by a African American woman who allows her staff to disrespect other women. Why do I say that? Well, my friends and I went to this establishment to patronize their Whiskey Wednesday Cocktail Hour and what we got was disrespect, humiliation, and hollering from the DJ over a table. The owner G. Griffith could not control him or de-escalate the situation. She went back to the kitchen where she was the cook for the night and to complete food orders no regarding for us as customers, professionalism or her place of business. There was no urgency to resolve the situation. We will NEVER GO BACK AND YOU SHOULD NOT GO THERE BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE VALUED OR RESPECTED!!!!!

A couple of friends and myself TRIED to visit the establishment but get there and it was closed on a Saturday. The hours posted on google and their FB page says they open at 5pm. How sway, lol …. now if they’ve changed their hours, they need to update that accordingly. We try to support black owned businesses but come on, we got to do better than this.
