Very cute inside and good food. The guys at the counter were friendly and gave good recommendations for my first time there. I did receive a different sandwich than what I ordered, but it was also very good so I can’t complain 🙂

There was a staple in my sandwich and my team called to let them know since we order here for the office at times and they barely had any remorse and barely refunded my sandwich. Could’ve cut my esophagus and died but I guess NBD right Ggiata. Never ordering here again.

I really want to love this restaurant. Is a small business that I’d really love to support, and the flavors are actually really good. The latest order that I got though made it a little bit challenging. The chicken, parm sandwich, and any sandwich containing a chicken filet is really skimpy with actual chicken. For $16 — a chicken sandwich should have chicken as it’s centerpiece. They’re fillets are smashed so thin, that it’s really a breaded essence of chicken sandwich. I understand that margins are tight for restaurants, but this is kind of unacceptable. Hoping the restaurant picks this up and changes the quantity so I can give it a full five star like I want.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! The Spicy P is awesome and the Bitter Greens salad is delicious.

Delicious turkey sandwich also bread made by themselves is great. One of the best sandwiches in LA, made with care.

Probably one of the most disgusting sandwiches I’ve ever had. For $18 each, I had a meatball sandwich with extremely dry meatballs and a turkey sandwich that was drenched in what tasted like maple syrup. It was like I was eating a soggy pancake. Horrible

Alright, listen- almost every restaurant on that Boulevard has a ‘5 star review’ with “ooh, the sandwich was soo yum, wow!” But those reviewers don’t know what a real sandwich should be. It’s the BREAD!!! Ggiata’s got the bread; when you hear the outside crunch but the inside is still soft, you’ve hit the jackpot and then it deserves the 5 stars. The Italian sandwich was on frickin’ point: the bread is seeded, a little more ‘earthy’ than a seeded semolina from back home but a very interesting take nonetheless- filled with good meat and cheese, and topped with some lettuce and dried peppers. I gotta come back and try the parmasagn sandwich; feels like I could wear my Italian horn here. Good stuff, fellas.

Stumbled upon this place and so glad I did because I’m still thinking about the sandwiches and that incredibly soft ciabatta bread. Had to get a cookie and olive oil cake too (because, yum) and they were even better than they looked. Can’t wait to spend all of my money and lunches here because…worth it!
