Cozy place with tremendous wine selection. Daily specials offered many additional choices to the already enticing menu. We tried the rockfish and spaghetti al limon – both were out of this world. Mozzarella was also fabulous. Reservations will definitely be needed, so plan ahead.

Me and 5 friends. 6 total, 3 couples. We made 7:30p reservations weeks in advance. Didn’t get seated until close to 8. I think they tried to push the group in front of us out but the “hey can you wrap up, we have a reservation after you” line always has the opposite effect.

Celebrated our Anniversary dinner on a Friday night. The place was very crowded but the bar seating was comfortable and service was absolutely GREAT! Food was amazing!! Highly recommend the Chicken Parm. The pastas texture and taste clearly let’s you know it’s handmade pasta 🙂 Please just Goooo

Very small building so space can become an issue during peak hours. Well-appointed bar in a friendly staff. They do have outdoor seating but it’s not very nice and you’re on a fairly busy street. No issues with the food it was very tasty traditional Italian cuisine. It’s moderately priced not inexpensive but not really expensive. Portions were okay not extremely large as you typically find with Italian but I don’t have a big appetite.

Don’t judge the book by its cover and in the case of Gersi, the entrance to the restaurant. No sign other than a small one on the sidewalk might fool some people.

A great new Italian restaurant in Richmond. We were only able to get a 5pm reservation, but on Black Friday that makes total sense. We started with the Buffalo mozzarella, which was excellent with well salted tomatoes and basil.
