If you are looking for good German food this is the place in Columbus/Phoenix City Area. The family plater was on point and I would order it again. I look forward to returning and having German beers while exploring more from the menu.

I have been coming here since it first opened and it just keeps getting better and better! The food is the best and the staff makes you feel more than welcome. It’s a great place to go for a relaxing meal. You really should give it a try!

Only one recommendation, your schnitzel was nice very flavorful. You should tenderize it prior to serving, it should cut with a fork, like all the ones I had in Germany.

First time at this German Restaurant. Awesome food! Just as good as being back in Germany. The gift shop has a very good variety of everything from Mugs, to clothing and novelty items!

I’ve walked past this place a number of times, and it always reminds me when i had a friend in Germany send me a box of German sweets. So today I decided to stop and pop in just to see if they had, what I considered the best item out of that box sweets, the “Milka Tender”. At first no one knew what i was talking about, and a lady came over and asked me for the name again, and at this point i was sure i had forgot the name. The lady then who had come from the back then says she’s found it, but they didn’t carry it. I was relived cause I did remember the name, and a little confident in myself lol, but the lady told me how I could get a hold of some. I didn’t find what I was looking for, but I may have found a hidden gem in PC. I did grab some candy, but I will definitely return because they make authentic German food there and it smelled so delicious in there I have to go and eat some of there meals. Everyone was nice and very helpful, I’ll be returning soon, hopefully you’ll take my word and stop on by and see for yourself….

We tried the food truck while we were in town for the weekend and we were very disappointed. We both ordered a bratwurst with sauerkraut; it didn’t seem to have any flavor and the whole sandwich was pretty much tasteless even with the mustard. My husband was also thinking it would be a much bigger sandwich. We love to eat German food but this didn’t match the reviews that we looked at and we were surprised at how much we disliked it. EDIT: In response to the owner. Yes I’ve been to Germany. If you’re saying any part of the food was “tasty”, I would disagree and we weren’t comparing to Johnsonville brats but thanks for the sarcasm. We’ll chalk it up to a loss of 20 bucks and call it good.

If you are looking for a place to make you feel like you have gone home, this is your place. I grew up in Germany and have lived and traveled all over the states. I have not found a place that could compare. The market and the Cafe were unbelievable. Not only will I be back, I’ll be back tomorrow. Couldn’t say enough amazing things about the place. The owners were also super friendly and welcoming.

Been going here for a while, finally tried the food truck today! As always good food and being German-American from Oklahoma I took German food for granted and once I moved out here I was unable to find good German food. Luckily, I can finally get my jaeger Schnitzel like the Tulsa- German American society used to do it!
