On this visit, I opted to try the chicken-fried steak which was really good. It was an actual cut of meat and not one of those nasty pressed meat patties. It was served with fries, Texas toast and a salad–all were good but I would prefer mashed potatoes. I will definitely be back to try some of the Mexican dishes. Service was a little slow but we had everything we needed. Prices were in line with other restaurants. One thing to note, there is a 4% charge if paying with a card.

Gerrardo’s meat market is top shelf!! They have awesome daily specials and each day of the week will have you walking away with your belly full. They are also available for catering for your events. One of the best around Kingsville.
