The food was decent but service was less than acceptable. I highly recommend the calamari and garlic bread but wouldn’t recommend the pasta dishes. Our server was unpleasant and treated us as if we were an inconvenience to serve. We were a couple excited to try this local restaurant, made a reservation and arrived elated to try, then we were met with a server who disengaged with us to the extent that we had to grab one of the hostesses for our checks and Togo box.

My in-laws came to town and our group of six went to Geraci’s on a Thursday night. This place is definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Cleveland area since moving here a short while ago. The bread they serve with the meal is good, the pizza was thin crust and the sauce was delicious and we had several appetizers too. The only thing I did not care for was the fried cheese ravioli appetizer. It just didn’t taste right in my opinion. We all did enjoy the fried meat ravioli appetizer though!

I hadn’t been to Geraci’s in a long minute. I met my sister-in-law and we had a great meal! We shared the breaded artichokes, the curly lettuce in the salad was crisp and crunchy. Our entrées were delicious, lasagna and angel hair. Plus I discovered a new wine. All good. Personable and friendly waittress. I won’t take as long between visits!

The food was great overall. We ordered the lasagna with meatballs, gracious! Also ordered the clams linguine which was ok. Calamari was good. We watched so many sizzling hot tantalizing pizzas pass our table that we had to order one to go! We’re full from the meal but when that hot pizza was given to us we had to sample it. So good! Service was wonderful. Love the atmosphere. We will be back.

So maybe it’s the older ovens. Maybe it’s the older staff (not really – our server was in her twenties but seemed like she had doing this for ages). In any event the pizza is better here than elsewhere, and we had a great meal. Pepperoni and bacon, outstanding. Deluxe, the same. A little Chianti made a perfect meal!

I’m sad because I had my hopes up high.. I ordered the supreme pizza and it had 0 sauce and hardly any cheese on it. I asked for extra sauce in the notes..We paid 17 for a small and it should have been decent.. I wait till the weekend to have a good cheat meal and I was extremely disappointed.

Drove there after seeing this place on Triple D. It was worth the drive, Italian food is one of my favorites, and I was not disappointed. The Meatballs were the absolute best. The Fried Ravioli appetizer was to die for, I almost didn’t make it to my Italian wedding soup which was just as I imagined, yummy to my tummy. Pizza is something they know, it showed in the taste.

Ordered a large plain pizza. It was very dry and did not have enough sauce. There were onions and tomatoes from the sauce throughout the pizza. My kid didn’t want to touch it. Will keep searching for a good cheese pizza in Cleveland….
