Excellent all around. The crab soup has wonderful complex flavor- curry and sweetness. Portion sizes are perfect, we were able to share everything among three people. Thankful for the live piano!

High end, high quality seafood dining experience in st. Simon. Recommend getting reservations as this location is high in demand for good reason… The food is phenomenal. The raw oysters came with a jalapeño champagne mignonette to die for, the crab stuffed hush puppies were some of the best I have ever had…. Then reach the dinner portion. My husband loved the short ribs that were melt in your mouth and almost cut with just a fork alone, I ordered the cobia Cajun style and love the ability to choose the main catch and then pair it with the seasoning of your choice. Highly highly recommend, great for a date night. Collared shirt for me and casual dressy for women. Thank you to the Zach the proprietor for working us in on a reservation!! Delightful…. Will be back

WHAT A HIDDEN GEM!!! My husband and I were walking to the Tasty Freeze on St. Simons, when we came across Georgia Sea Grill. We hadn’t even noticed it and we’re from this area.

AMAZING food, If you visit St. Simon’s Island, you must make a reservation here. We did good by eating here last night in town, as otherwise we would be disappointed comparing this with other (also good) food we ate elsewhere.

Excellent dinner overall. My wife and I walked in Valentine’s Day (on a Tuesday) at 8.30pm. We were seated right away at a secondary bar and had a very good meal. We had the Beef Carpaccio for an appetizer, and the Shrimp & Grits and Catfish for our entries. For me, the grits were the only downfall in this meal. They were served at room temperature and lacked seasoning. Everything else was well seasoned and delicious. They obviously know what they’re doing in the kitchen and I would definitely recommend them to a friend. Our waitress knew the menu inside out and was very engaging. The entire wait staff was hustling all night and it seemed that everything was flying out of the kitchen. The interior decor of the restaurant is absolutely geogeous and they had a pianist playing a grand piano. I highly recommend you give them a try.

This was by far the best meal we had on our vacation. Great selection of cocktails. The Southern Manhattan was smooth and the grapefruit margarita was very refreshing. The Tabasco syrup that came with the pimento bites was so spicy and interesting. Cornmeal dusted oysters were wildly good and pairing them with pork belly is a stroke of genius. Wedge salad was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The shrimp and grits was flavorful and well-portioned. For the vegetarians, the ravioli was exceptional. Fresh pasta with a delicious vegetable filling. I appreciate a restaurant that creates vegetable dishes with the same level of quality as their meat-centered dishes. If you’ve never had escargot, this is the time to try it. They’re buttery, salty little nuggets topped with some puff-pastry. Tried multiple desserts and my favorite was the key lime tart. So citrusy. Service was attentive and quick. Great experience from beginning to end.

Food, service and ambience were fantastic. Jordan, our server, was quick and friendly, took time to chat. Live piano player was exceptional. Menu options were great, wine and cocktail list were well thought out and well made. Would absolutely go back.

The food at Georgia Sea Grill is sublime. My husband and I both had the market fish. I had the Cajun Spiced African Pompano and my husband had the Pan Roasted Redfish. Moreover, we really appreciated the service. McKenzie was charming, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We weren’t even planning to get a beverage, but we each got a cocktail and appetizer along with our meal. This really turned into a special night and a resounding and welcome high point in our vacation.

My wife and I decided to try Georgia Sea Grill for our anniversary. Although it wasn’t a flawless experience, I’d still 100% recommend GSG to anyone, and I’m sure my wife and I will be back.
