Cool little spot to grab a good southern breakfast. I’ve been wanting some fish and grits since being back in SC for a bit. Unfortunately they don’t have catfish which is what I really wanted but they do have flounder which worked out well. The grits were a bit bland but overall everything was pretty good. I’d definitely go back

Quaint local eatery with great food served quickly. I had the Onion Sausage and eggs. My wife had the Fried Flounder and eggs. Tucked behind a convenience store/gas station, this place has a strong local following. Only a couple of miles off I-26 towards Columbia on Charleston Hwy. Definitely worth a stop.

Food was really good and the service was better. Sat at the counter with the “regulars” and was treated like one. I believe my waitresses name was Laura. She was quick and friendly and the other staff appeared to be the same. Definitely worth a try.

I am a Yankee. Been here for a while now and really wanted some good southern diner food/ experience. Started off my job would meet here after our meetings. The waitresses always took great care of us. Lately I have been bringing my Yankee Dad with me. He absolutely loves it. Food is so reasonably priced, waitresses are all great, friendly and attentive. And the owner is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars all day. Been here around 20 times I say.

This place is wonderful. My son Bruno and I just left the Children’s Hospital. He had surgery this morning. I have been one exhausted Single mama and just wanted a home cooked meal! I remembered we loved George’s Southside food. Bruno passed out by the time we got there. As I called them from the parking lot and explained I couldn’t come in , the lady Mandy, happily took my order and came out for payment and brought my food out to me! She didn’t have to accommodate me at all, but her kind soul did. Thank you! I appreciated it and the food is amazing!

I’ve always wanted to try this Restaurant. Well I did and the food was disappointing. If you’re looking for plain, no seasoning, no taste. This is the spot. My flounder wasn’t even cook through. This is not the spot if you want some good old southern-Soul food. The place gave off some old Andy Griffith back in the day vibes.

Great locally owned place that serves breakfast and lunch. The owner is there almsot every time I’ve been there. That means a lot to me. I also like the cozy atmosphere. Waitresses call a bunch of people by name.

I went here for the first time this morning after passing it many times on the road- they have really good biscuits and gravy and have excellent prices. They took care of me very well and quickly. I’m glad I came here today and will be back many times!

Onion sausage was smaller portion and not as good as others I’ve had locally. Our server was wonderful. As for atmosphere, the dining room could use a good cleaning.
