This was my first time at George’s Pizza. I had never heard of it, but a quick Google search of pizza places in Brookings had it listed as #1. Well, it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and all the staff were very courteous. We decided to have Greek pizza with bread sticks, fries and baklava! It was all so amazing and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food. The atmosphere was cozy and felt like we were being catered to very well. I would recommend George’s Pizza to anyone who wants to experience great food.

Food was good! Service was less than to be desired! They were NOT busy! We showed up at 7:30 it took a few minutes before someone came to our table to ask us for our drink order. Employee told us our server was in the bathroom. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. It seemed like they wanted to close early as they were cleaning tables and putting the chairs up. Server never came to check to see if our food was satisfactory. Server left for the night and manager took over? Was not an impressive experience!

Great food! Worth the stop. The chicken gyro was wonderful! Also the gryo salad was amazing. The cucumber sauce was so thick you could stand a French fry up in it. I’ve never had better! Service was a little slow but we had a great server.

We ordered a large bacon cheese burger pizza and it tasted terrible. All three of us thought it had a terrible taste and none of us could eat it, it tasted similar to watery spaghetti. We wanted them to take it back and we were going to buy a different kind of pizza but they refused. They said that they wouldn’t take it back and even if we didn’t eat it we would still have to pay for it. Apparently the owner wasn’t in so the “acting manager” made the decision. Even though we only ate a few bites and left it there we had to pay for it. We never got another pizza to replace it because we had to pay for the nasty one. This is soooo bad for business we won’t be going back, yeah not impressed. No wonder the place was pretty much empty. They don’t care about their customers.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. Pizza was amazing we had the Greek supreme with chicken sidewinder fries garlic bread sticks and baklava. Will definitely be going back.

My family has been coming here since the 1970s. Our most recent visit here we had pizza, wings, and the Greek salad – all very, very good. The Greek salad was HUGE and I’ll totally get it again. The shakers of oregano at the table are appreciated.

The Yiota’s gyro pizza is phenomenal. Georges is a staple in the town of Brookings. Any one of their items is definitely worth a shot. The prices and people are top notch!
