This place is a quaint, local family-owned business that has very regular customers and delicious food. It has been around for decades, and you can observe that many people who’ve been coming there for years bring the younger generations of their family as well to share their tradition. As many have said, it does often take a long time for the pizza to be served, but it is worth the wait! They make the delicious pizza fresh, customized for each order, with a savory pizza sauce and thick, mouth-watering homemade dough. It is one of our favorite local spots for eating.

Easy Rider
I used to come here with my parents 30 years ago, when I was little and have some good memories here. I recently moved back to the area and when I found out it was still open, I had to bring my own family here. I was so excited to return and find it was still exactly the same as I had remembered. The service and food was great. The french fries before pizza is a must, tradition here.

Went in there twice in the last year and I had the same experience. Great pizza, but horrific service. I don’t understand how they can have so many employees but my food takes 40+ mins to get to me. The restaurant was empty when my family arrived. We ordered fries and a large pizza. Another customer came in 10 mins after us and he got his fries before us. About 25 mins in, we were told that our pizza would take an additional 7-10 mins, which actually turned into 15 mins. We didn’t want to dine in any longer do we took it to go. Its frustrating because they say they’re sorry for the wait, but in reality, there was no reason that a pizza and fries should take 40+ mins to cook, especially when the place was empty. Like I said though, the pizza is delicious….but something has GOT to give with the service.

My family has been coming here since before I was born. George’s pizza is a unique experience that you cannot get anywhere else. Inside it’s a time capsule of the 80’s/90’s that hasn’t changed as long as i can remember (in a cool way). The employees genuinely remember you and are part of that experience. If you’re a first timer to George’s pizza you may think the food takes some time, but this is also part of the experience. Their attention to food consistency and love they put into the pizza and hand cut fries shows this. So if you’re looking for a super quick bite, this may not be the place for you. But if you’re looking for a place to pull some tables together and enjoy time with family to wait for delicious pizza and hand cut fries- this is your spot. I’ve never had crust like theirs anywhere else, the sauce blend is on point and I love the cheese. And nothing beats their cold ham subs with fries. George’s will always be my family’s go to pizza spot.

Best pizza on the east coast! People fly in from Rome, Milano, Naples just to get great pizza! We’ve been going there for 22 years and look forward to another 22 years! BTW, Atmosphere only received 3 stars because you need to have a jacket, sweater, fur coat, etc., because the A/C works very, very well!

I havent been to George’s in 20 years. I decided to visit an old childhood favorite tonight. The two ladies behind the counter were very sweet. From the second that pizza went into my backseat until the last bite I was in heaven. I’ll absolutely be back. Thanks for an awesome dinner and a nice flashback.
