Everyone has there own different experiences where they go, a good recommendation place to go for a dine In breakfast for home style food. Previous people have mentioned of over cooked food or not being well in there favor but do not take into consideration of take out food still continues to cook while in the container the whole time being enclosed. Great breakfast, great lunch, great place, a lot of history, overall a must.

The only good thing was the lady over the phone was nice. Other than that, the food was plain & not good at all. They didn’t even put salt & pepper packets in the bag for the eggs which the eggs needed really badly. The home fries tasted like there could’ve been soap in them OR like they put zero seasoning at all. The french toast didnt taste like french toast.. it just tasted like bread. I expected it to be better due to how many stars they have on google, but it was nasty.

Georges is like walking into a hometown dinner from the 70’s filled with all the expected characters who only add to the atmosphere.

Reviewed breakfast places near me and based on the number of repeat customers and mostly positive reviews, I went.

I, Christine Mensch have been going to George’s for 14 yrs. yrs. and I work there too, and I gotta tell ya he and his daughter make the best bacon, egg and cheese on a toasted buttered English muffin is a hit for me and there slammin breakfasts and lunches are great too in every way! This is why his establishment has lasted 47 years coming up, I believe, love him and the crew, and all the loyal customers that have been coming there for many years!!! There the best❣️❣️❣️❣️ ‍♀️ ✌️

Anyone who knows anything about this area knows that there is NO PLACE quite like George’s! The food is excellent and the portions are great for the money. It is a throwback to the old school family diners that used to be so prevalent in this area. I hear some narrow minded people call it dirty….nothing could be further from the truth! The cooking areas are immaculate as well as are the plates and utensils. This is an old building, and the interior is somewhat dated but it’s anything but dirty. Do yourself a favor and stop in for the best traditional breakfast in the area, hands down. While you’re there strike up a conversation with some of the regulars, many of whom are lifelong residents of the Borough…who knows, ya just might learn something as well!
