Nice local joint, right next to the train station. Very friendly staff, always checking in. We got jalapeno poppers as an appetizer, steak and cheese and clam chowder. The poppers were nicely fried with Philly style cheese inside, not my favorite but still good. The steak and cheese was huge with a large portion of fries, really good shaved steak. I am told the clam chowder was also quite good.

Everyone was so nice, me and my husband came for a nice late lunch, im surprised it wasnt full with how delicious the clam chowder was!!! And everything is so reasonably priced, if i cooked this delicously i would charge a lot more!!! Thankyou

My wife and I went here for a dinner while we were waiting for our son who had went to a concert down the street. If you are looking for a fancy place to eat this isn’t it, but if you are looking for a nice place to sit ,relax,and eat some delicious food with good people then I definitely recommend you give this a try. My wife and I ordered chicken parm and it was very good! We also grabbed some appetizers too,the onion rings and mozzarella sticks are a good compliment to our dinner. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. I will be stopping by and eating here again.

Unpretentious is correct. Just picked up clam chowder from the bar. The chowder was delicious. Creamy, full of clams, small diced potatoes and just enough salt. Excellent. Bar service was great.
