I really enjoyed this pizza. Only got two slices of normal cheese for a quick bite and it was yummy. It tastes how it looks. Great size slices too. The pizza is thin which is nice, sauce tastes great, and the slight char on the end is flavorful.

Pretty disappointed in the quality of pizza here. Figured I’d give the new place a try. Low quality/frozen produce and despite coming straight out of the oven the mozzarella was congealed and not melted. Can just taste the difference in quality between something like this and a classic mom and pop pizzeria. Seems like they dip on the quality but they feel like they can charge pretty high prices due to the “wood fired” aspect. Gave an extra star because the girls at the counter were very friendly.

I Heard great things about this Pizza from my foodie brother, so we we decided to take a ride from Clifton Park & we weren’t disappointed. The Pizza is great….thin crust, great sauce, real cheese!!! BUT THE SERVICE IS AMAZING!!!! An employee named Jack was impressive… my husband and I dined in, with 4 boys on a Friday at 6pm!!! Has to be the busiest time ever for Pizzerias! Jack was beyond attentive to each pick up order, online order, and managed to walk us through the menu, make suggestions and smile!!!! After his 4th trip to our table, I had to ask if he was the owner! Only a good business owner really invests such time and effort for each customer, especially new ones! He explained he was actually a Manager (I see the owners are smart in who they chose for management!), and I complimented him for making the experience so pleasant. Food is great (gennaro lg pie, cheese lg pie, pepperoni lg pie, gennaro wings, & hot wings), quality is there, space is clean and trendy… BUT the service is what made the world of difference this time… thank you Jack! And the team that supports the restaurant! We will be back, and we will spread the word. Family friendly!

I am a huge fan of their Saratoga Location. Glad to see they opened an Albany Store. I really enjoyed their “Gennaro Pizza” at this location. The roasted peppers are made in house and you can clearly tell the difference from jarred peppers. The Plum tomato sauce is balanced and flavorful, not over spiced or heavily seasoned. Looking forward to ordering again soon.

Food was okay but the disappoint comes from the customer service. Ordered one of the specialty pizzas that has prosciutto di parma on it. We got home with our order and there was no meat on the pizza. No problem things happen. We called and they apologized saying that happens sometimes and we could drive back to have the prosciutto put on. We explained we lived about 25 mins away and asked if we could just get a partial credit for next time we ordered instead. We were told there’s no way to do that in the system and there’s was nothing they could do. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life and I understand things happened all the time. Even if the person on the phone didn’t have the ability to do something an email from a manager at a later time would have been fine. Driving back to have it put on our cold pizza does not seem like the best solution. Mind you, we had a fairly large order. Two orders of wings and 2 orders of garlic knots on top of the pizza. This does not encourage repeat customers when you are a new business to the area.

Best pizza and wings in Albany. Staff are friendly and really know how to properly bake a pizza! Pizza crust is perfectly baked, veggies are fresh and the wings are always tender and flavorful. Antipasto salads are always freshly made.

We have order pizza here 3 times and everything was excellent….This is right of boat wood fired pizza. Not sure how other people gave bad reviews. It’s delicious and the crew at Auto Cosmetics of Altamont likes its as well. Staff was friendly as well.

First time getting Gennaro’s, and it is absolutely my new go to for Pizza in Albany. I ordered The Gennaro and a salad (salad wasn’t too good, but that’s what I get ordering a salad at a pizza place). From the dough, to the sauce, to the cheese, to the meat, everything was perfect. I’ll let you know what I think about the rest of the menu….don’t judge me, of course I’m going to try to the wings and the mozzarella n’ carrozza!

Terrible. For starters, the pizza was a mess in the box, 2 slices completely upside down. The reason why it was a mess was because the the dough was paper thin and hardly cooked. I like thin crust but this was too thin to hold up the toppings. Chicken wings were boiled chicken that was dropped in the fryer for a few seconds. No flavor to anything. Get Paesans instead.
