I came in to get some ramen and unfortunately it wasn’t that great. It took them a long time to get the order ready, and when I finally dug in it wasn’t that great. I got pork ramen, and it tasted like they just took slices of a cooked spiral ham and dropped it in. Didn’t even taste of the broth. I’ll go back to try another dish and their bubble tea but so far not impressed.

I worked for genji 2+years and was a team leader in Asheville. It is the worst company to work for! They work you to the bones and they don’t care if you have a family. Majority of there employees only want to be a team member and not a team leader because they don’t pay well and your accountable for everything! Not to mention they have to kiss whole foods feet just to have a say. The worst environment ever!

I came into Whole Foods at 8:30 am today and was looking forward to grabbing a pre-made sushi lunch for later. The cook at the counter must’ve woken up late or something because he said, sourly, “We don’t have any rolls out, we just opened.” I don’t think 30 mins after opening qualifies as “just opened” but I left, feeling offended and disappointed, and grabbed a chicken salad wrap from WF’s refrigerated section instead. To the cook’s credit, he did flag me down before I left the store to offer a semi-apology and to custom make me a roll, to which this review would’ve been 1-star otherwise, but I had already made another choice on lunch at that point (one that didn’t involve being put down for asking a question about product availability). I’ll probably be back again just because I like shopping at WF and love sushi, but I hope to receive better customer service next time.
