I had the absolute pleasure meeting Wendy and dining in at the newest restaurant at The Mill on Etowah in Canton. My husband ordered the steak hibachi bowl, spring rolls and I ordered the chicken hibachi bowl. All of the food was absolutely delicious. Ordering was very simple and the menu was easy to understand. Wendy took our orders and promptly delivered our meal to our table. The whole staff was friendly and very attentive to all our needs. It is such a pleasure to finally have a healthy, affordable food option at The Mill on Etowah. The restaurant was extremely clean (along with the bathrooms). The flavoring of all the dishes was excellent. The meal was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were crisp and the meat was tender, marinated well, full of flavor. Three yum yum sauces came with our meals which was very nice because we poured it all over our dishes. It was delicious. The location of the restaurant is easy to find as it is facing the parking lot, just behind the green and stage. We plan to continue to eat at Gekko Kitchen when we visit The Mill on Etowah as it has quickly become our favorite spot for authentic Japanese cuisine. I can’t wait to try the Ramen, Tempura Shrimp and Sushi Bowls.

I went to Gekko with my family last Saturday. The place was very clean and the food was awesome. The only issue was they should add some more tables outdoor because most of them were occupied. Definitely come back again!

Great new addition to the mill. Not really a sit down atmosphere but they do have some tables inside and a nice patio area. The food was amazing and you really get some large portions for the price. Perfect to grab and go when enjoying a night around the mill. 5 stars from me, I’ll definitely be back.

Don’t sleep on this place! The food and the service are both amazing! We tried a Hibachi Bowl, a sushi bowl, and a Ramen Bowl and all 3 were fantastic. Service was top notch. We were expecting a traditional restaurant, and almost left when we realized you ordered at the counter and then sat down….. not a traditional full service restaurant. So glad we didn’t leave because the food was phenomenal!

My boyfriend and I tried Gekko for dinner on Monday night and we were extremely happy with the service and quality of the food! The amount of food you get for the price is really great and it all tasted SO good. Definitely one of our new favorite spots in the area!

This place is outstanding. We had the spicy tuna poke bowl, chicken and steak hibachi, and the potstickers. Everything was delicious and super fresh with so much flavor. It is also a lot of food, so worth the money. We will definitely be frequent patrons of Gekko!! We are so glad to have them at The Mill!
