Gee (owner and cook) is the “real deal Jamaican” from Trelawny, Jamaica. Very welcoming, with his bright smile and island-vibe Jamaican accent.

I ordered a cheeseburger with mac and cheese and cabbage for my sides and an additional small mac and cheese and cabbage. First, let me say that their customer service was good. But that mac and cheese tasted like kraft with bigger noodles with a little more cheese added to it. It was NOT seasoned and so bland. The cabbage was dry as the desert. I was so disappointed because someone told me that their food was good. It is a HUGE no for me. I ended up trashing the food, all of it!

All the food is fresh made and delicious. Best mac and cheese I have ever gotten from any establishment, okra is fantastic, chicken was breaded and fried to perfection, and the cornbread is fantastic. You might have to wait for a minute for your food or for your order to be taken, but it’s so worth it!

Food used to be a five star….fried fish so good, jerk wings good, salmon good but your sides are hit or miss. Cabbage used to be so good….just okay the past 2x and greens were salty….I’ll try you again but note, side dishes are slipping.

My first time ever eating here was through DoorDash but it’s like six minutes from my school so I’ve been having my lunch there a few of my friends didn’t know about the restaurant so they start going as well and the jerk chicken is to die for an I just tried to rib tips and I’m in heaven one of my favorite go to’s when I’m up on this side of town

I called my order in at 5:30pm I gave them over the time they said it would be done which was 20 mins. The girl was very professional and smart mouthed. The food wasn’t even finished and mage me late to work. 1st bad review from me. The girl learns needs to learn how to deal with customers correctly.

Incredible food! I got the oxtail and dumplings with mac & cheese and plantains as my sides. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the mac and cheese had those great crisp edges. Plantains were a little oily, but had a great balance of savory and sweet. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
