Our server was the absolute sweetest. Everything they were out of. She made sure to accommodate it, and make it right. The food, well the good was absolutely amazing! The tea was my favorite. It’s hard to find a good tea now days. Withers to sweet, or not sweet enough. Their was on point! We will be back!

I really hate to leave a bad review but you can’t fix it if you don’t know. I have been here 4 times since opening. A group of us came the first week and it was rough. We actually didn’t even get to eat that night after we sit there for an hour because they ran out of food, understandable. The second and third time the wait time was extremely long. I will not guess how long because I know it always seems longer than what it actually is. It was so bad that my family does not want go back because of the white time. I convince my son to come with me tonight. When we pull up they’re not busy and little did we know they were closing at 8. It was a couple of minutes before 8. Anyway, I told my son it looks like we may not have to wait long so we should get out pretty fast. When we walk in the girl literally tells us we have two minutes to place our order. Once again I get it, I was in retail for a long time, and I know how it is with people coming in the last minute. my big issue is that I find it ironic that I waited every time and for so long just to be told to hurry up this time. Maybe I’m just being petty.

Really enjoyed Gayle’s. I had their cheeseburger with egg. Large burgers with lots of fries. Just a great family restaurant. Stopped there after a long bike race in Paris and had a great late lunch.

I think we caught them on a bad day or something because I’ve heard so many good things about this place. The restaurant is nice and clean and the girl who sat us and took our order was nice enough. However the food could have been better. I ordered chicken fried steak (got a big and a small portion, the small piece was pretty good) the big one wasn’t done enough for me. I’ve never gotten a chicken fried steak that was bloody, plus the crust wasn’t done in the middle. My husband got fried shrimp and it was also just ok. Shrimp and the fries were cold despite being served to us pretty quick after ordering. To add to the disappointment our waitress gave us the ticket while we we’re still eating, (which is totally fine) and she turned around for only a second then asked “can I go ahead and take care of your ticket” we hadn’t even looked at it and we’re literally in mid bite when she asked. To me that isn’t good service. I’m really sad because I had been hyping the place up for my husband and had even made a bet that if he didn’t like it I would pay before we went in. It’s hard to find a good place to eat in Bonham and I really thought this was gonna be the “one” not sure if I will give it a 2nd chance.

Great food in a casual setting. We arrived late for lunch and early for dinner. They were still welcoming and gave us great service. The salad was fresh and the rest was cooked perfectly.
