From the outside, Gateway isn’t the most impressive looking place in the world. Inside, it’s more of what you’d picture for a diner.

I heard rave reviews about the pie, so it was a must stop on our way back home. Tried the Tator Kegs first. They are giant Tator tots with bacon and cheese in them, served with ranch. They were amazing and reminded me of Potato Skins appetizers. We then had pie. Cookies and Cream and Coconut Creme. They were absolutely fantastic. It’s been years since I’ve had a slice of coconut creme pie and this hit the spot!

Stopped in for brunch. Tried the French toast with strawberries and whipped topping. It was the best I’ve ever had. I am from out of town but I eat here all the time. I don’t think there’s anything on the menu that isn’t great. Don’t forget to get some pie to go. They have some of the best pies in all of West Virginia.

It was the perfect diner for our trip exploring Seneca and Spruce Knob! The waitress was so friendly. The breakfast was exactly what we had hoped for. Prices were extremely reasonable!

Great little diner. Burgers are greats! Deserts are awesome! We’ve been there a few times when we are in the Seneca Rocks area.

The West Virginia Camaro Corvette Club was doing a spirited run down Rt 33 aka Shenandoah Sidewinder on August 13th when we decided to take a chance and stop for lunch. We sure are glad that we did. What a hidden gem! The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable and the service was spot on! We love to support these privately owned small businesses and we will definitely be back with even more members the next time we are in the area!

Are you headed to spruce knob? Then, before you head up that way, this is a must stop! Really good food! Really good prices, really good service! I drove by this the first time I visited spruce knob. That was a mistake! The next time I went I stopped here and it was so worth the stop! Homemade pies for desert and the food was perfect!

What a blessing to have a family diner right near Spruce Knob. I was referred by the nice lady that runs a general store near Seneca Rock. She said breakfast lunch and dinner are great. I stopped and got breakfast right after seeing Spruce Knob peak back in August. I got steak and eggs and it was a tasty deal. Staff was very kind and courteous. I would definitely eat here again next time I’m in the area.

All of the lovely ladies here were friendly and the food was good. The pie peanut butter and chocolate peanut butter pies were ridiculously tasty. Drop by if you’re near, you won’t be disappointed

The food was great. I had a side of potato cakes, and they looked like huge tator tots and were delicious. They had cheese and bacon in them. Then I had the Fruit of the Woods pie, which had at least apples, strawberries, rhubarb, and blackberries and was the best of tart and sweet combination.
