I had an exceptional dining experience at Gateway Cafe. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Philly cheese steak, which I can confidently say was the best I’ve ever had. The succulent slices of beef combined with perfectly melted cheese and sautéed onions created a flavor explosion that left me craving for more. The bread was fresh and added a satisfying crunch to every bite.

We stopped here passing through and we will be back if ever in the area! Food was delicious and service was excellent! Despite being short staffed and very busy, our waitress Morgan did a fantastic job! We got the Pepperoni Pizza and the Pittsburgh Sandwich! Both were great!

This is a lovely bar/restaurant!! The lighting is a bit dark but it’s brightened up by plug in lights and other festive decorations – all of which make this place feel super homey! The bartender and our waitress were SO friendly & very accommodating. Our waitress had a great sense of humor & was willing to talk to us, and she even took interest in our lives (on the surface level). Again, this just made it feel super homey. It’s on the side of the road and doesn’t look like much from the outside but their food & service says otherwise!!! Stop by for a yummy lunch or dinner… or a drink. Great beverage menu 🙂 10/10 would recommend to any travelers or locals!

Good food at a great price! They are open late, and have a full bar. I had the rib eye steak and my daughter ordered the lasagna. We finished our meal with the chocolate cookie sundae. They were severely understaffed, as they let three servers go the night we dined. However our server was pleasant, helpful, and attentive. We will return. I want to try the prime rib next.

Told my daughter that we will have her wedding dinner here (small group). They actually have Gluten Free options, and are completely understanding of my health issue that causes the intolerance. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t be sorry, you have to try it!

We went on a Monday night-I ordered the New Orleans Cajun salmon, a baked potato and veggies. They were so accommodating when I asked for the cream sauce on the side, the salmon to be blackened and no butter on my veggies : )

Just moved to dubois from the Poconos in March, tried this place for the first time and it was legit. Food was hot and good, prices are decent (for bidenflation anyway) and the service is great. Super attentive. Will recommend will def be back.
