What an awesome stop for breakfast. A simple menu with some extraordinary choices. I had Gaston’s Benedict which substituted a crispy fried chicken breast for the English muffin. Then they slipped a thick hunk of bacon under the perfectly poached eggs…all slathered in a tangy hollandaise sauce (I hope my cardiologist doesn’t see this). The avocado toast was equally artisanal. We will be back!

I’ve always seen this place whenever I’ve gone to the mall but never stopped. Figured I’d give the breakfast to go a try since I’ve been craving a breakfast burrito. Man… they LOAD this thing with eggs! It was fantastic! Potatoes were good as well. First place I’ve ever seen with a sauce cup (salsa cup in this case) large enough to actually use for my entire meal. Can’t wait to try lunch or dinner here next.

What an excellent discovery! Honestly, we came here because we made a last minute decision to dine out on a Saturday night and all the popular places were booked until 8. We aren’t familiar with the area as it was only a halfway point between us in Indiana and someone coming from Park Ridge. When we pulled up the place seemed pretty empty. For such a busy area that made us nervous initially but then came to realize how nice it was to have a quiet spot to chat with someone I hadn’t seen in a while. I think the place is BYOB but they have some super fun mocktails and coffee drinks. I had both a matcha and a latte at the end to go. My friend got a strawberry daiquiri that looked like the real thing! Food was excellent. We even took a quart of soup to go. Portions are a plenty. You won’t go home hungry! I really hope this place gets more business as these types of restaurants with homemade food and a quaint atmosphere are our favorite. If you’ve never checked it out PLEASE DO!!

First time dining here. Food was excellent. I ordered the Lemon shrimp. I will have a hard time ordering anything but that. My husband ordered Chicken Florentine, equally as good. Huge portions. The young men working this evening couldn’t have been nicer. Will return soon.

Excellent service, lovely atmosphere. Only complaint is that the salad I ordered was to have pears. The fruit was very under-ripe to the point of bitterness – kind of odd. Leave it out and offer a substitute when things aren’t quite right! Would definitely give it another shot there though ♡

I came here with a friend. We were the only ones here on a Sunday morning. We just ate the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and we both liked it. The coffee – hot mocha lattes – are better than Starbucks. You can tell it was made with love and not laziness. We will be back here again. Service was good too.
