Food was great, we stopped in on the way out of Atlantic City. The food quality was awesome, you can tell they care about what they plate. Coffee and iced tea were the best we have had in a while at a restaurant. Casual environment, the staff was great.

This place is a must visit when in the area. The owner, Gary, is almost always in the restaurant, which is likely a big contributor to why it hasn’t gone downhill like so many other places. The food is consistently good and priced reasonably. The servers are fast and friendly. The best diner-like, home cooked food in NJ. Been eating at his restaurants since I was a kid.

Great place to eat, large selection, food very good. we met the owner Gary, Pleasant, friendly and professional. Staff friendly and professional, courtesy minded. Recommend this restaurant if you ever going to visit Atlantic City to drive to Gary’s restaurant in Pleasantville New Jersey for a meal. We are from North Carolina.

When the first choice had too long of a wait, we checked Yelp and found Gary’s. Im glad we did, because the staff was awesome. Attentive and yet not overbearing. The food was hot, delicious and plentiful. The menu had a nice variety to choose from. We met Gary on the way out and what a friendly guy! We will definitely be back to try lunch one day, as it is literally less than a mile off the AC expressway and before the Garden State Parkway.

From out of town. Went looking for a gas station and found this gem. WOW!!! Been in places in all parts of the country, and absolutely one of THE best breakfasts I’ve enjoyed. Already told friends in the area they need to check it out. Just wish you were closer to home!!!
