Small, hometown atmosphere. Super friendly wait staff. Food was wonderful and servings large, you won’t leave hungry. Space is small, so if you aren’t pressed for time, you should try it out! Know that the pancakes, although yummy, are more crepe like than fluffy. BONUS for adults….they do serve mimosas!

We were in the area and always wanted to try this place. It had a great feel to it. Like a friendly neighborhood diner. The two men working were friendly and nice. The food was delicious and came out quick too. We both got omelets and the serving sizes were big. We want to come back and try the pancakes! I got fruit instead of potatoes and was glad I did. They had pears, blueberries, watermelon, strawberries as well as a couple other fruits and it was all fresh and delicious. They offer beer, wine and other spirits for breakfast. We plan on coming back and trying a few drinks! The diner filled up pretty quick after we got there so we picked a great time to stop. We got there around 8:30am and I believe they open at 7am.

We were looking for a good breakfast place different from the big chain restaurants and this place exceed our expectations. Family dinner experience, VERY friendly staff, you can see the cook from your table and the food was great. Coffee was really good as well. Place was full on a Sunday morning, but we were seated quick. We had the bacon omelet, the breakfast sandwich, a pancake and a grilled cheese. Highly recommended if you are in the area and enjoy the dinner experience!

My wife and I are searching for a new breakfast spot and I think we found it! The location is great, the wait wasn’t bad and the staff was very kind/courteous. The food was very good and the portion sizes are generous for the amount that you pay. All-in-all, this was a great breakfast experience and I can’t wait to go again.

First, I’m always a little leery of super clean diners, but this /is/ in the outskirts of Hudson, so that might be a clientele decision. That said, the food was delicious, but required extra pepper at the table to get the biscuits and gravy right. Otherwise, the staff was fast and attentive, friendly and sociable. These scones they gave us were cute and tasty. The alcoholic coffees are also good. All-in-all I recommend this place for brunch if you’re looking for this type of greasy spoon.

Garrett’s Mill Diner is possibly the best breakfast in the greater akron area. The food is best described as home cooked, and ingredients are always fresh. Every item you get here is of quality, from eggs to breakfast meat to the fruit in the fruit cups (strong variety and very fresh!) The pancakes are phenomenal, and the closest thing I’ve had to my grandmas pancakes since hers! The service is always wonderful, and the staff is very kind. Mistakes may occasionally be made (rarely a loss though, there’s no bad item on the menu), but they are always accommodating. Could not recommend it more!

Been here several times and its always delicious and pleasant. Grateful to be able to support local small businesses. Staff is friendly and check in to make sure you are taken care of. Really impressed that they offer gluten free pancakes, waffles, and bread options. So so good! Will continue to be a repeat customer.

My wife and I stopped in for Breakfast this morning, our first time visiting, and it was wonderful. While not a large restaurant the food was delicious, they had nice serving sizes and the service was great. The employees were very nice and friendly. First time visit, but we will be back.
