A true hidden gem. Everything here is fabulous. By far the best restaurant burger I’ve ever had, from San Francisco, Beverly Hills to San Diego. Avila Beach is where you will find it.

Had a wonderful dinner with my husband and our friends on Thursday evening. We had an Artisan cheese board and fried calamari as starters. All the cheeses were amazing and the Calamari was wonderful! For my main I had the deep sea scallops and pork belly over polenta and carrots. The scallops were perfect and the pork was super tender and delicious. For desert I had the chocolate torte and it was rich and delightful. Service was fantastic and our only complaint was that we chose to sit on the patio and we had a few bees that would not leave us to enjoy our food. We ended up relocating inside to enjoy coffee and desert. Our server was super accommodating and we will definitely go back when we get an opportunity to do so!

Got the first reservation at 5pm. We were a little bit early and they quickly set up our table. I should’ve taken pics of the drinks, food and dessert, but I forgot a I enjoyed the outdoor dining and the delicious food. The outdoor patio had plenty of heaters to keep the table warm and spaced out nicely. There was some indoor seating but we preferred outdoor seating. All the dishes were yummy and the service was good. Will definitely come back.

Our service was fantastic, so was the food, and cocktails (Rusty Nail). We sat outside, mosquitoes were buzzing but that’s expected after our winter. I did notice a few pups so that was cool that they’re now dog friendly. It’s a cool dinning experience and you have the hot springs.

We stayed at the accompanying hotel so we had three meals from here. Breakfast crab cake Benedict was good a little heavy on the bread side but was good for soaking up yolk. 1st dinner shrimp pasta and fried chicken. Won’t or the fried chicken again. Not crispy at all and was soggy with loose skin. The pasta with shrimp was good and the shrimp were cooked nicely and spices hit to give a kick. 2nd dinner started with seafood bisque and smoked salmon crustinis mains short rib and a chicken Caesar salad. Smoked Salmon appetizer came with 3 huge pieces. These where nice I wish they had capers or more of the pickled onions. Bisque was creamy and flavorful with nice bites of seafood. The short rib was huge and tender. Needs more seasoning or a stronger sauce but that’s my opinion. And finally the salad, it was a nice light citrusy leaning dressing but fit well. Hope you enjoy your selections when you visit.
