Decided to try this newer downtown restaurant. The eating space is pleasant, very clean and stylish to my eye. The margarita was good and the beer came in pretty large mugs! So these parts of the experience were what you would expect. On the other hand, the food caught me off guard a little in that the preparation does not include some type of sauce other than a side bowl of salsa. For example, I ordered the combination plate which comes with a fried taco, an enchilada and a burrito (beef in this case). The side of salsa made perfect sense for the ground beef taco, but my expectations were for the enchilada to have a sauce, same with the burrito. Perhaps my expectations were wrong? But I found myself feeling like the meal came across pretty dry to the taste. My friend had a chicken enchilada and this is where the dryness truly came out in which the chicken lacked flavor and was dry because it lacked a sauce to support/enhance the protein. So perhaps we ordered incorrectly somehow, but the lack of sauce to enhance the otherwise decently prepared food that just needed something to bring the flavors and experience together makes me question if I’ll return for a 2nd visit. The beans were quite good! The rice, slightly below average.

Service was slow but they were respectful (only had 1 person working the floor so it was understandable), but the food was awful. The guacamole was runny and brown, the chips were beyond greasy as well as the taco shells, and the ground beef was dry and overcooked. I also payed for the dinner which comes with rice and beans for an extra 5 dollar’s approximately and it was a literal spoon full.

Great atmosphere and great food! I’ve eaten at both locations and the food is consistent between both of them! There was a review about the food not coming with a sauce. This restaurant has authentic Mexico Mexican food, which means it won’t come with a sauce unless you ask for it smothered! I highly encourage you to get everything smothered because their chili is ahhhmazing! Also, treat yo’ self and buy their chips and salsa with the bean dip! You won’t regret it!

Food was thrown on the plate the salsa tasted fermented and rancid. They left the salsa out all day and was serving after it spoiled. Several people have gotten food poisoning here. Do not eat here! Food isn’t fresh. The floors were filthy. The table was dirty. The food is too expensive. The whole experience was a nightmare.

We drove over to Laramie for a bike ride and to eat here. We waited 30 minutes for them to open on a Saturday. They didn’t bother so we left. The food was good the last time we were here but this is very disappointing… Never again!

Can I give them a minus 5? Perhaps none of the staff or owners have ever had Mexican food. Apparently they think cutting up a flour tortilla and getting it good and greasy is a tortilla chip. Yuk. WAAAY overpriced, bad food, stupid expensive. Save your time and money!

My family went to try it out and were sadly disappointed. It took over 15 minutes to even have our drink order taken. The food was expensive compared to other Mexican restaurants in town. It took 45 minutes to get our food and when it came it was cold. The tortillas were stiff, the burrito was bland with hardly any filling. The food had cheese on it that wasn’t melted. Neither the burritos or enchiladas had any sauce on them and were very dry. We ordered red Chile for $4 and were again disappointed with the taste. Overall it was a bad experience.

Staff are always friendly I have been here a few times now it is a new restaurant so they are working out the kinks. The chips are homemade and fresh for every order. If it’s busy you will have to wait alittle bit but that goes for every restaurant. Can’t wait to see a new business grow in our town.
