My husband and I stopped in to see how good the food would be, and it wasn’t disappointing. The food is amazing, we started with the shrimp and the fried green tomatoes. We have eaten here several times, even for brunch. The food was so good we frequent there twice a week for our lunch date. There are so many good food choices. We highly recommend this place. I don’t want to forget to recognize the staff and how kind and attentive they are every time we go.

The atmosphere had an urban feel, but the restaurant was very family friendly. It was busy, but we were seated right away. Our waitress, Chris, was fun. She was very engaged but not in an annoying way. She made she our cups stayed filled, and was really honest about plate size. Portions are larger than you’d think.

We went here for the first time over the weekend and enjoyed ourselves. We had fried green tomatoes and pretzels with queso for appetizers, both were so delicious! Our dinners were shrimp and steak tacos with Mac and cheese, blackened chicken Alfredo (both pictured below), chicken fried chicken and kids grilled cheese with fries. Dessert was Creme brûlée and butterscotch brownie. Our entire party enjoyed everything, it was all super good. Service was also really good! We will definitely be back again!!

Very good service…the fried green tomatoes were amazing! My mom said it was the best chicken livers she has ever had. My steak tacos were wonderful also. Pricey but worth it!

This place was absolutely awesome. We went there for my Birthday dinner.Started off with Chips and queso. I had the Hot Brown and my husband had the Shrimp Alfredo. Both were delicious. Topped it off with the Blondie for dessert. Nicole our server was very attentive. Scott the manager came to check on us twice. Definitely will be going back.

I had a half of a Fried Green Tomato BLT and a Strawberry salad. Both were amazing! The Gander sauce for the BLT was very good and the goat cheese on the salad set it apart. Will definitely be back!

We love Gander, for both dining in and takeout. The atmosphere is always great when dining there, it is lively but never loud. And taking out is a wonderful option as well.

This place has really fallen off. Worst service I have ever received anywhere. Burger was dry and the baked potato was so undercooked that the center was too cold to melt the butter. I would avoid this place like the plague! I will never go back.

Definition of…its just ok. Food came out lukewarm Shrimp was partially still frozen. Not sure if it was an off night. There was one highlight, the she crab soup! I would eat that again, but get it to go!
