This is the way fish and chips are supposed to be done. I had difficulty choosing between the Halibut 2 piece or the Galley Platter. Why not get a platter and taste everything they offer, even if it’s cod.

Heard it was good so here we are! Kelly is the fish and chips reviewer extraordinaire and she says: “Good and fresh. Well seasoned. Generous portion for sharing.” Lots of parking. Trains roll by periodically which we like. I love Oysters so got the Galley plate which includes Cod, Shrimp and Oysters. Yummy.

Had a friend turn me onto this food truck. Great fish and chips down by the water. Make sure to ask if they have salmon and halibut, as they do get their fish fresh and they might be out. Doesn’t take but 10 minutes or less to get your food. They have some outdoor tables, no indoor seating so just keep that in mind. But they do take credit cards and the outside seating is nice when the weather permits.

A..mazing fish and chips. And great costumer service. This food truck is located behind Ponderosa Beers and Books. The food can be taken into Ponderosa if you want to partner it up with a cold brew. I had the halibut (fresh from Alaska) fish and chips. The batter was fluffy and crispy. Would recommend

Coming from Montana we were excited for some good fish and chips. We thought we would give this a try and it was fantastic. All my kids were raving about it. The coleslaw was very fresh and had the perfect amount of sauce. Food was hot and fast. No complaints. We just wish they would hook the trailer up and come on out to Montana.

The chips (fries) were perfect. Fish done beautifully. Kraken burger has perfectly cooked calamari. Terrific staff is so cordial. Atmosphere? It’s right on the bay. What could be better. I hope this place stays in business.

In January2023, we tried their fish & chips b/c we love a good basket of such. However, after spending over $50 on a meal for 2 we cldn’t eat the food. The fish smelled old & was mushy. The breading didn’t attach to the fish. We felt ill for a few days after. We just chalked it up to lesson learned b/c the folks at the restaurant were so nice. So when we saw that this restaurant was chosen by Reader’s Choice in the Cascadia as the Best fish & chips & best food truck, we thought folks should be aware their product might not be consistent.

Best fish and chips in Bellingham. No contest. A lot of places in town say they have the best. These guys actually give you the best. Both the fish and the chips are top tier. The fish is light and flakey and the chips are crisp and fresh. I had the cod basket and it came with 4 good sized pieces of fish and more fries than I could eat. I would have liked to try the halibut, but I got there just as they sold their last portion. So if you are going just for the halibut, make sure to get there a little early

I was just at this mobile fish and chips truck by the marina in Bellingham. I got the halibut. It wasn’t fresh. It was mushy and smelled fishy. I received a basket with a large quantity of fries- they were good. Two small pieces of fish + a small piece of ? I ate two bites of fish and a couple fries. I NEVER send food back but i did this time in protest. I told them to keep my $ 21.00 no drink. I won’t go back. Not good!
