We were there a day early for a retirement celebration. We were seated upstairs and ordered the Egg White Sour. It was amazing! So amazing that I brought 20+ people back to the bar the next day to have one. We had the summer tomato salad which was more like a tapas plate than a salad but delicious none the less. I got the burger which was very tasty as well. We enjoyed our dinner immensely. This is an upscale restaurant with major city pricing in a small town. It looks like a popular place to dine so even though they are on their second go around it looks to be sustainable at these prices. I would definitely give it a try. I will go back to eat here again when in the area.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is very nice, we went there for a date night and it was great for that. The staff were very friendly and provided insight on menu items as well as beer. The food was good, with a large emphasis place on presentation.

It had been several years since I had eaten here (about 5 to 10 years) and our meal was amazing. The restaurant had been renovated since the last time we were here. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. Our server was great and very attentive to us and our needs. The food was amazing. I got the salmon and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. I really like the grit cake that the salmon was served on. The fried green beans were really good. My wife got the baseball sirloin and it was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth.

I drove an hour for the all-you-can-eat fried chicken dinner and had a great experience. I made a reservation for 11:00 AM when they opened. I was surprised when the hostess led me to an elevator to get to the second floor; it was a fun little experience.

I hadn’t been in to Gallagher’s in quite a while. I had high hopes but left pretty disappointed. I started off with the Pacific Wave Sushi roll. An 8 piece mini roll for 18 dollars. The rice was absolutely mush, wasn’t seasoned properly and the spouts completely muted any remaining flavor.

Newly renovated and great atmosphere. The food is excellent. A must go to place. Update: We go often. Went back again tonight and had an amazing steak. Worth the drive from St Louis. Must go to place.

Yay! They brought back the classic whiskey sour! The remodel looks amazing. We sat at a table on the main floor. I love the design. The ceiling is gorgeous. Our meals were great. Sea bass is on the regular menu, which I love. The service was excellent. I’m definitely returning.

Fried Chicken Sunday review: Was very disappointed, and won’t be back. All different recipes than before the remodel. Maybe someone else will like it that never had the former chicken Sunday. The chicken was overcooked, almost burnt, so dry (see pic) barely warm and not the old recipe-def not special. The potatoes were fine, nothing to come back for. The green beans were very plain and extra crunchy, prefer more cooking time. Corn was ok, the old recipe was definitely more fluffy. I really missed the gravy since I used to dip the chicken in it. As I said, everything was dry, could use some gravy. Had to ask for S&P. Was seated and it took 15 minutes for the drink order and 30 min for the food to come out and it was all lukewarm, and not busy at all. Overall not worth $20 per person. I really wanted to like it. I understand they are going for the more upscale vibe, and the remodel is very different, miss the homey historic feel of the place.

The new concept isn’t bad but it is a complete change from it’s prior incarnation. Say goodbye to the Candied Bacon Cheeseburger and Fried Chicken and say hello to Asian Fusion and Steaks. We enjoyed the service, our appetizers, and the Sushi. We found our steak on the fatty side and some of the accoutrements a bit salty.

I was so excited to try this place, but was not impressed from the get go. Had to wait probably 15 minutes after reservation time to be seated because the table wasn’t set (we were 5-10 minutes late), we were seated and the table still was not set for some reason? So they were setting the table while we were trying to look at the very large menus… kind of chaotic, they were out of the pomegranate syrup for the cosmo, and wait time for cocktails was kind of long too. The food however… absolutely delicious!!! So good, cannot recommend enough. If service gets on the same level as the food, this would be 5 stars no question
