“Gag’s” is one of the most amazing stores in the country. People drive from all over to shop at this family-run Italian deli very close to I-25 in Pueblo, CO. The quality of the meats, cheeses, olives, and other foods is excellent. The store makes many of its own products using Pueblo Green Chilis and they’re great — try the green chili sausage and salami. Party trays are special — often carefully arranged by the matriarch. The service is excellent. There’s no other store that smells so good when you walk in. They’ve been there over 100 years, so they’re doing something right!

Gag’s Italian Deli is an absolute gem that I can’t help but rave about! Being away from home has truly made me realize how much I treasure this place. Every time I make a trip back to Pueblo, Gag’s is a must-stop destination for me. Why? Well, because they offer a delightful selection of my all-time favorite foods that I simply can’t find anywhere else. It’s like a time machine that takes me back to cherished memories.

I am so excited that Gagliano’s is 100% open for business! In fact on June 26 they will be celebrating there 100 year anniversary with a party! This is the most authentic traditional Italian deli in the entire state of Colorado. They have fantastic sandwiches, a huge supply of imported goods and home made sausages. Go for for the food and and experience what it was like going back 100 years in time. (Party was awesome!)

What a treasure! Between the wonderful old world products and the friendly, helpful staff, it is easy to see why this place has been in business for 100 years. We were looking for a place to get a quick bite before driving back to Denver. We got delicious sandwiches carefully made to order. Loved the muffuletta. We also stocked up on Italian ingredients ranging from polenta to spices to oils and candies. We were able to get their house made Italian sausage with Pueblo chilis in bulk. Also, Nonna was making cookies in the back. Be sure to grab some Sicilian wine cookies of they haven’t sold out.

Amazing little gem of a store. Authentic Italian goodness mixed with a Pueblo CO twist. Got a sandwich and some sauce and pasta. They have so much amazing food. Sandwich was delicious. I’ll be stopping here next I’m in town.
