Gabriel’s is traditional between equestrians and I love the cute and “antique”feeling of it. The food is great, I had eggs with bacon and it was very good!

I had one of their specials the Spanish Grits Casserole, it was okay. It could have been way better if it was A LOT less cheese. There was more cheese than grit or eggs, very overwhelming. If you visit and you want to try this dish, I would suggest requesting light on the cheese. The service wasn’t great. Everyone fast-moving including my server, there weren’t many full tables so wasn’t sure of the rush feeling. Didn’t feel very welcomed, not sure if it’s because I was a single guest eating alone. But I felt far from welcomed, server didn’t even ask how was the dish, especially considering I stopped eating it to write this review, it was noticeable that I wasn’t a fan of the meal but I guess they don’t pay attention to that stuff. Overall, not sure I would visit as a sit-in guest again, may place a pickup order in the future though. Can’t say I would or wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Maybe if I give them another chance as a sit-in guest, I can give a better idea of whether I would recommend them or not but I was overall disappointed with the customer service than anything else.

We usually go to first watch where the service feels impersonal. Darlene our server this morning was AMAZING!! We were splitting a meal and she put on 2 different plates without us even asking, she just took the initiative off what we said!! The food was also literally AMAZING!! We are new to the Wellington area and we will FOR SURE be back here. I do credit card processing for a living, so I have seen what makes or breaks a restaurant over the past 8 years I have spent in thay industry, it’s not the taste of the food that makes a restaurant succeed. It is servers like Darlene who make the customer feel valued that contribute more then anything to a restaurants success!!

Food is very good and there is a nice variety to choose from. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I find the outdoor seating to be more pleasant. Children and their dogs are welcomed; it’s a family establishment. If they offered vegan options, my wife would join me.

The person who takes you to the table is rude and condescending. He is an older bald man who wears glasses, for some reason, he looked upset, not a good morning, not a smile……he should NOT be dealing with the public.

Everything was top notch. The menu is one of the most exhaustive I’ve ever seen, so many choices that you will find it hard not to find something you like. I had the hungry man casserole and it was absolutely to die for. It was also the first local restaurant that I have ever ordered two cappuccino’s from, most don’t even have it, they were that good. They have outdoor seating under deep shade and that’s a plus during these trying covid delta variant days.

Best breakfast place ever. The owner Gabriel offers the best customer service I have seen in years. We sat with my baby and he brought us a high chair and a cushion to make my baby more comfortable. The food was delicious. I will be coming here every time now and they have a dog menu !! Will bring my other babies by also !
