Don’t judge a book by it’s cover !! This place is fantastic ! The outside looks like a bunker but once you enter you will feel right at home and the service is really good and the food is really great ! We took a Swiss burger,, it had roasted ognon and roasted mushrooms salad tomatoes and pickles !! me and my wife will be back

Good food and totally great ambiance. I had a custom strip bacon, serrano cheeze omelet with beans and tortilla. Gj bacon is out of sight. I told Javier they must be raising hogs out back. Their torts are good as well.

The “G.j.” in G.j. Restaurant Bar and Grill must mean “Great Joint”! This is such an unexpected place to find on AZ Highway 177. Upon first look at the structure’s “rocky” exterior you don’t immediately think of a bright and clean restaurant on the inside with cold beer and great tasting fresh Mexican food. The staff were super attentive on my visit and were very helpful with area information. Because I love playing billiards, I have to mention that they have a pool table. Don’t pass up this “Great Joint”!

What an amazing welcoming restaurant bar. We were passing through town and so glad we stopped. The Carne asada is absolutely delicious. The burros are big and so much value for the $$. The customer service is 5 stars. Thank you for a great dinner and wonderful memory! ❤️
