Happy that I discovered this place, passed it the other day and never expected to see it again. I lucked out when today as I was leaving an appointment and while scouring the map I saw it was just down the road. I got the jacked up burger, cheese curds, sweet tea, and a strawberry milkshake. The sweat tea was ok, the burger was cooked well and tasted really good I only with the jalapenos had a little more kick and crunch, the cheese curds were perfect, and the strawberry milkshake is the best strawberry milkshake I’ve ever had. That said I’ve not had a ton lol so take that for what it’s worth.

My wife and I was craving something cheese fries from G&Js so we decided to pull in. Their service was INCREDIBLE!Always nice and kind with us and VERY professional! We always feel like family here no kidding, but needless to say OUR food was BEYOND AMAZING even though it was something so simple!! We will always go here when we are hungry!! To be honest if I could I would give them 10 stars because they ALWAYS go above and beyond with everything they do!! There’s a reason they’ve been here for such a long time! In my opinion alone, they are the BEST restaurant in Livingston Parish hands down!!!!

It’s a very nice environment not too loud but ya probably will run into somebody you know if you’re from Livingston parish and everyone is friendly the service and the food are excellent and the place is very clean too. Great experience with a great friend.

I love G&j’s! I have been going here to eat since I was very young. Playing ball for LPR, and we would come here for ice cream. Food is still as good as it was years ago. I only gave one complaint. …I hated seeing the young guy who was working and his fellow co-worker, who happened to be an older lady mid 50s If i would have to guess. But she was down grading him about the order bc of mistake hw had no control over. I just wish it would have been more encouraging words than what was said. So I kept telling him every chance I got, “You’re doing great, don’t worry about that!”

We waited 45 minutes to get our food. I had a doctor’s appointment and couldn’t wait any longer. I asked a girl that took the order if she knew how much longer it would be. It was like she brushed me off. After about 5 more minutes we just left.
