I ordered the Fujiwara ramen. This place was so good. I had lowered expectations because of all the franchise ramen places I’ve been to. However, the broth of this ramen was exceptional. I couldn’t taste any msg or other flavor enhancers unlike many other ramen places. The broth was simple and savory. I would definitely visit again.

As someone who has had Ramen from all around the world, the Ramen served at Fujiwara is very tasty, especially for the East Bay Area. As most good Ramen shops, or most better restaurants for that matter, the menu is focused so that the quality is consistently high. This is not a con, but a choice. Some of the other Ramen chains in the area … cough cough … Ramen 101, are just terrible. Fujiawara restored my love of Ramen while living in the East Bay, and highly recommend checking them out. Broth tends to be heavier on the Bonnito, which I love, but be aware. Fantastic 🙂 … off I go to get a bowl of Shoyu!

Good ramen where you can choose thin or thick noodle. Karaage is yummy. The tonkotsu soup is on the light side. Not very rich. Overall they are good.

Decent ramen place. Reasonable price and good portion of food. Depending on what time you go to, it can be very busy and may take longer to get food. When I went there last time, there was only one lady who takes orders, serves, and takes care of payment.

The best ramen place I can find in the area. The broth is probably made in house instead of just diluted stock because you can smell it cooking in the back if you go in the early afternoon.
