We stopped for a late lunch, which proved to be a good choice. The waiter greeted us each with a delightful onion soup, complementary. Our questions were answered, the service was attentive, the food was well-prepared and tasty. We ordered egg rolls, beef with noodles, and shrimp with extra vegetables and sweet carrots. The serving sizes were generous with value pricing, $25 plus tip.

Pleasantly surprised by Fuji Yama. I was expecting another generic hibachi restaurant, but this place is amazing. The food here is very fresh and tender. You don’t have to worry about eating anything dry. You can also substitute in other vegetables or other types of rice for no additional cost. The teriyaki sauce here is very delicious. It’s not overly sweet and has a nice ginger flavor to it. I highly recommend the teriyaki steak here, it isn’t dry at all like almost every other hibachi restaurant. Give this place a try, you probably won’t regret it.

Highly recommend dining here for delicious food at a low price. They bring you soup as soon as you sit down. The reason for a star deduction is they brought our entrees right after receiving the salad and egg roll appetizer. I would have preferred time to eat the salad ($2) and egg rolls ($2 for 2)before receiving my entree.

I ordered a salad with the ginger dressing, absolutely delicious. I also got the egg rolls and chicken stir fry. The egg rolls were delicious. I wasn’t too impressed with the chicken stir fry but I also ordered it with no vegetables. It seems they didn’t put any sauce on it either so I took it home and my brother thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was busy so it was probably me being picky as to why I wasn’t impressed with my main course.

Food was very good and large servings. Our waitress was very friendly and sweet. She had a very Happy smile. We’ll drive from Hendersonville just to eat there again. It’s well worth the trip.

Always order out here and always have to be mindful of whatever is gotten. I used to work here so yes ladies and gentlemen they most certainly have roaches!!!! Also DO NOT and I mean don’t get the mushroom soup cause I personally used to have to flick roaches out the bowls all damn night. But anything off the hot grill is ok.

Very disappointed. This place used to be great and the food was always awesome. Not really sure what happened. Last two times it was basically unfit to eat. Steak was tough and scallops where like chewing on rubber. Won’t be back!
