The burgers are the absolute best. The atmosphere is less than pristine. It’s a restaurant inside a small grocery store. Employees are the owners, and it’s going to take you at least 25 minutes to get a burger if you’re the only one there or an hour if there are 5 people ahead of you.

Great hometown hospitality and good ol country homemade food. You want a real burger you have got to come check them out. They have hearty meat patty on their burgers and also on the hamburger steak plate. Loaded tator tots make a great addition to your burger. While you are waiting for your meal to cook, check out all the antiques around the room. You are sure to find something interesting, but even if not, you will definitely leave with a full belly and very content.

Good to see that some things just don’t change. It looks just the same now as when I first found the place back around 04 or so. Some of the best food I’ve had, and better still, was how consistently good it was, countless trips took me down hwy 154 for many years, and I would always have to stop either one the way or coming back-a non negotiable stop to be made. Can’t recommend this little diamond in the rough enough.

Nothing like a good “diner hamburger” every once in awhile! This was my first time to visit, though I have had many friends tell me how wonderful it is! I thoroughly enjoyed my burger and was able to get grilled onions on it! The fried green tomatoes and jalapeno poppers were good also!
