This was one of my healthier places to eat over the past few years. Unfortunately not only has the menu changed significantly but also the customer service! Never, have I heard of a customer requesting a substitution (due to a food allergy of bananas in a smoothie) and not offered a comparable substitution or other option. Rather, only to be up charged a petty 50cents for substitution of an equivalent ingredient, or even an additional quantity of an already incorporated ingredient. Instead I was offered to pay the same amount for lesser ingredients and quantity or pay more for additional fruit. Needless to say I brought my last drink at fuel today. Ironically as I write this review I was informed they took off “the create your one smoothie” because of too many bad reviews! However they are willing to lose a loyal customer and add another negative review for 50cents! Ironically I later came to find out the person serving me was the store owner!

Very disappointed. I have ordered a turkey burger many times from here. It was always juicy and delicious. This time it was awful. Tasted as if they microwaved cardboard until it turned gray and hard. It was hard as a rock. And I first noticed this when it was delivered deconstructed and I had to put it back together. I picked up the burger and it was so hard. Took a bite and surprised I didn’t crack my tooth. Awful, no taste, disgusting. Threw it away. I don’t mind prices going up if quality stays the same. But it was not worth 2.00 let alone 13.15. Don’t think I will trust fuel anymore for good food after seeing other reviews that had the same issues with their food. They have changed for the worse. Shame.

Used to really enjoy Fuel on Walnut in center city. Ordered Fuel a couple times from the Passyunk location during the pandemic, wasn’t great but not terrible. Figured it was due to the pandemic so gave them the benefit of the doubt. This is our first time going back since, we stopped in to order pick up. My partner said the person behind the counter was rude, made him feel like he wasn’t welcome and was impatient while he deciding his order even though there were no other customers. He asked if he could use the restroom while waiting for his order and he was told no, that it was only for employees, but then they ultimately allowed him.

Fuel is the best. Soooo tasty. Soooo fresh. Reasonably priced for the quality. Pictured is the Pad Thai bowl and spinach artichoke dip with pita. Yummy! Paid street parking is a little hectic in this area, but you’ll usually find someone leaving as you arrive.

I ordered the jerk mushroom pitadia and it was delicious along with the side salad and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My order was ready in within 10 minutes and the service was polite and friendly. I’m so glad I found this healthy spot for lunch.

My family and I get fuel all the time for a quick and easy lunch. It is not only great tasting wise but the customer service is impeccable. Today, they were very busy and the wait time was a little bit longer than expected (normally they have it ready in like 5 minutes) and a couple people were being impatient. The girl (I wish I know her name) at the cash register was working her tail off and could only do so much and handled this very well. She warned me of the wait time but still apologized many times and then gave the smoothie I ordered for free. The work ethic and her service was great and it is so appreciative. I will obviously be back. Thank you!!!!!

20 minutes waiting for an order, when I arrive at the restaurant the two girls who are inside serving do not stop talking, more than 20 minutes have passed and they are still talking to each other without preparing my order! have a little empathy, people are working, we are not playing

Came in at 8:15PM and ordered, i was not out of there for an hour waiting on a sandwich and some fries. I was sat listening to the two people on staff cursing, complaining, slamming things, and talking about how they “hate everyone in the store right now.” My partner and I tried asking for a refund because it was taking so long, but they told us that they weren’t able to and they would have to void the order and wait for the manager to come in in the morning which is just ridiculously sketchy. We finally get home and my food is fine but my partner’s rice is undercooked and their vegetables are practically mush. Absolutely insane experience and I will not be returning – this is the second time this has happened to me and I naively gave them another chance tonight.

Very mediocre. Proclaim to be healthy but are just ok. Had a nasty hair on some veggies and the sweet potato fries were not good. Smoothie was fine but it’s easy to make a good smoothie with peanut butter and honey.
