This was my second time here and it was a little busy but my daughter and I were able to sit down to talk before our food arrived.

My family went here on a Friday evening, it was busy and a band was playing out back. The cones came out really quickly, and as expected the shake took longer (maybe 5min). They also have some grab-and-go style items like the cookie sandwich.

I got two different shakes from Frydae’s: strawberry and caramel coffee brew. Both turned out good; excellent choice for a sweltering summer day. I’d be willing to go back again.

I don’t do a lot of food reviews now because I’ve drastically changed my diet over the last year. But this is a place I couldn’t resist for a cheat treat. This was my first visit. I ordered over the phone for pickup, and the host was very friendly and accommodating. I had ordered the Mint To Be sundae but had forgotten to order it in the mason jar. I had to call back for that. I’m giving 4 stars because it is pretty pricey. $13.99 for it. It’s definitely not something you could do too often. However, it was delicious. It had brownie chucks and was topped with chocolate whipped cream and bits of Andes mint pieces. I’m not sure how many ounces it is, though. I want to say 12. One small detail missing is a handle on the jar. They also serve shakes and street fries. I can’t wait to try the fries, as they all look so tasty. If you’re ever in Marion, be sure to give them a visit.

I wish I could put 5 stars. I will definitely be back for the sundaes. I highly recommend trying the sundaes don’t do the shakes. It’s expensive but it’s a novelty ice cream and it’s really worth it. I docked a star for the fries. I ordered the poutine and paid $3 for the pulled beef extra. It tasted great but I got 2 tiny pieces of beef. My husband and friends got fries too but they all had a big helping of fries and other toppings. We will be back but I hope management sees this and tells their employees to not be stingy with the toppings.

Have only visited one time, so can’t give full 5 stars for food. But the ladies working were very gracious and the atmosphere is kind of old times ice cream join meets modern restaurant. They have the best loaded fries I’ve seen. They also have all the toppings you can think of for your ice cream, making it incredibly customizable

Excellent food and service. I referred a couple people in my class to try it . I was told the Mexican street corn was pretty good. I wanted to try it, but OMG, the Korean BBQ kimchi is so yummy.

Cute place to eat especially if you like fries and shakes/ice cream. I had the Korean BBQ so delish. And for dessert I tried the Marion Blackberry omg if you love Blackberry it’s a must try! Staff is friendly and restaurant is clean.

We had a good time! Food was good, with many fun options. Made it hard to choose! But that’s a good problem to have. The servers were friendly and courteous. The restaurant was clean and was decorated with fun decor. But we were a bit surprised at the prices… For my wife and I to each have fries and a medium shake, it was just over $40. But the experience was good, so we really can’t complain too much. But I’ll be honest, as much as we enjoyed it otherwise… It’s hard to imagine we’ll decide to be back any time soon at these prices.

Gone there twice, can’t wait to go again! Employees are always very nice and quick with making and serving the food. The fries are always fresh and hot! It’s so fun to watch them make your sundae! Highly recommend, love this place!
