Stepping back in time as a child in the 60’s my mother would give me a quarter & I could buy the best cherry slushy & a bag of popcorn. It was such a treat, thank goodness the owners Matt & Becky Andrew’s who acquired it have kept it traditional but have added some really good food options that are delicious! Thank you for caring about the history of the Frosty & continuing a fun family foodie atmosphere

Yummy food and a step up from “fast food” typical menu. The special sauce and ranch dressing are homemade and delicious. If you want a milkshake, this is a great spot too!

They are never open when I want to get food (ie when returning from weekend trips). Need to be open later especially on weekends. Also went over there specifically to get dinner during business hours and they apparently closed an hour and a half early..waste of time and gas. The one time I did go, the food was good, so giving a star for that.

Awesome little burger shack, fries were the best part. Burger needed to be seasoned as it was pretty bland. Other than that, it was well made. They don’t carry American cheese, though. I guess they look down on it, like they are too good to sell the processed garbage cheese out of their little crusty shack and then charge $.50 for some bland special sauce. I will be back it though it beets all other burgers in dixon.

Went with the highest of hopes. Waited in line in the unshaded heat, paid close to $70 for 2 hot dogs, pretzel bites, the fish tacos, chicken fingers, 2 milkshakes and a slushee. Which, in my opinion is wayyy overpriced for a roadside stand type restaurant. The fish tacos were bland. The pretzel bites were hard and there was no dipping sauce. My kids got the bison hot dog without the toppings. Thankfully one looked at her hot dog before she bit in. There was a sticky, unknown greenish black substance in her hot dog. Both hot dogs were somewhat burnt, but this was not gristle. we all lost our appetites after looking at it, trying to determine what it was. There was a line so we did not wait to return it or get a refund but, with all this said….I WANTED to love this place. It definitely came recommended with all the hype and it’s local! Maybe we will be back for shakes and slushees only. I feel I’m probably being generous with the 2 stars.

Always feel like I’m getting ripped off when I come here. Too expensive for the kind of food it is.

Got cheeseburger and fries and diet Pepsi. $18. That’s okay. I liked my burger, especially the brioche bun. The fries are really good. My Pepsi was flat, unfortunately. I will come back to try some other things. I think they should definitely pare down the number of menu items and focus on a few things they can get out quickly.

Good old fashioned, sit outside place. A great little eatery to grab a guick lunch to sit and eat there, or take with you. I would definitely recommend it. Reminds me of places that we as a family would go to, as we were growing up

Good Swiss & Mushroom burger. Spendy but pretty darn good. Worth the detour into town.
