I stopped by the Frontier while passing through southern Indiana area. I was looking for a nice restaurant with southern charm. I found it. I has the large prime rib. Awesome. Baked potato was cooked just right for prime rib. And the fried pickle were outstanding. However, the best part was my waitress. I sat in the bar area. I swear she could read my mind. I wanted for nothing. Thank you. Very nice place. Keep up the good work. Dean

My family spent my mothers 82nd birthday at frontier. The food was decent, although they were short staffed we understood patience. My sister was in bathroom and overheard a conversation from the waitresses complaining about our party of 20 being there and ordering additional drinks… we spent around $1000 at this restaurant and left a very nice tip. Yet felt as though we where not welcome..we informed other staff of this in hopes that the customer service for future Curtis better.. we waited over 25 mins for drinks, again we understand being short staffed but honestly two waitresses that are there are not a good look for this restaurant.. Jessica the bar tender was AMAZING!! And is an asset to this restaurant with our a doubt.. The Jessica special drink is perfect and should be on the menu, thank you Jessica for treating us so nice..

We arrived at the restaurant at around 12:00 today. The 4 of us waited at the door for about 5 minutes and then seated ourselves at a large round table. Most of the tables were full but there was no one with food. We waited another 30 minutes for a waitress. We all decided on the special, Salisbury steak, so we could get our food quickly. We waited another 30 or 40 minutes and still had no food. We left cash on the table for 2 colas and left.

Very disappointed. We are die hard Hornets nest fans and we were expecting a similar vibe and food service in hopes to love another local restaurant. BUT THIS WAS AWFUL. There was no warm welcoming. Very awkward setting. The waitress was nice but, didn’t listen to our order. However she seemed overworked and Alot on her plate. The food was down right HORRIBLE and we literally got burgers. They were basically charcoal pieces. For the amount of good reviews and things Ive heard I was stunned with how terrible our all around service was. The price was terrible and the services was awkward, I wish 0 stars was an option.

12oz pork chop no where near 12 oz and didn’t grill BBQ sauce on it. Came room temp on the side. Ordered no tomato on salad and put tomatoes and forgot the eggs. Disappointing for sure. 3 of 4 staff in dining room appeared to hate being there. No smiles and just looked negative. Our server was peppy and nice. Unfortunately won’t be back

Since our former visits (before current ownership), the current establishment lacks in service and mostly the food industry standard of quality of food. Both of our visits since the new ownership, have resulted in a less-than-desired outcome in both food and service.

We waited 90 mins from start till the time we received our food…wait staff had no idea what to do ..we go during the day there wait staff is excellent and food is good..we have a male server during the day he is polite and knows his job

Service was ok. It was moderately busy but it did take over 8 minutes for someone to acknowledge us after we were seated. Both floor servers passed by our table during that time. One could have at least said they would be with us soon or something. Just an opinion.
