I will give 5 stars for the service, it was excellent. I will give 3 stars for the food. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, it came with mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. The only thing hot was the chicken fried steak and the white gravy they put on it. The new owners don’t give you the choice of a soup and salad bar anymore like the old owners and the option for the menu is limited.

The food was amazingly delicious, and cooked fast upon our order. The waitress was very friendly and offered great service. They did not have set kids meal options, but I was able to build a meal for my daughter but it was not any cheaper for a kids meal. The bathroom was clean and worked well. If I am in the area again I would gladly eat there again

It really depends on how you view food whether you will like this place. This restaurant is not close to getting a Michelin star. The menu has the most basic American foods on it. But the prices won’t hurt your wallet. It fits the community it’s in from the standpoint that the customers are local, lower income, retired. It’s what they can afford without being fast food. The staff are friendly and helpful and seem genuinely interested in their customers. It appears clean. I didn’t mind eating here.

We walked into the restaurant with there being maybe a few tables that had people. We waited an hour for our food. I walked up to ask and they told me that we had walked into a rush. There was maybe 4 tables. My food was cold. I was nice enough to take the food with a discount. We heard talking in the kitchen saying that they are short with 5 people there and that the customers need to understand that rudely while looking at us. Also the lady who was cooking stated she cant see because the sweat is pouring in her eyes. We did not eat that food knowing sweat was getting into our food……this was not the first bad experience we have had also.

The Frontier as we’ve known it closed a few weeks ago. I was always happy if they had beets in the salad bar, that was my usual. It’s just reopened under new management. 5 stars for new paint, & a cleaner, brighter environment, 2 stars for menu choices & prices. No soup & salad bar. With only a few choices, I ordered a rather pricey BLT. I got a plate with a dry white bread sandwich, with sparse ingredients, that was falling apart. Looked like it had been thrown on the plate. I’d like to give them a little more time to see what they do with it. I saw a breakfast burrito on the menu I’d like to try. UPDATE: maybe a week after I wrote this review we went back & tried the breakfast burrito. We were stunned to each get a naked small, dry, white tortilla bundle in the middle of a big plate. Squatty, dry, & bare. And expensive. After our disappointing first try at the new Frontier, we talked about never going back. But now, a few months later, we’ve seen a few announcements of daily specials, & decided to give it one more try before making a final judgment. I’ll update again.

Very good food. Limited selection for dinner, but decent portions, at s fair price. Service was excellent, very little wait time.

RV & CUSTOMER UNFRIENDLY. Traveling home from a family vacation, we pulled up in our 21’ motorhome to 2 other cars and an open sign at 10am. We made sure to park out of the way and readied the RV to go enjoy a family meal. As we got out a woman rudely yelled from the door for us to go park down the street because their customers parked where we were parked. We explained we were customers coming in to eat and she again rudely asked us to move. We left and will not be back. Our motorhome is the length of a long bed pickup and we took up the same space in the mostly empty lot. We were ready to spend our hard earned money in this restaurant but will not be making that mistake again.

Stopped here on a roadtrip for lunch and had the best soup, fries, and pie I have ever tasted! The staff and regulars were also incredibly friendly.

Food and service is great. Only drawback is you do not have a lot of choices for meals, but you do get your money’s worth
