Stopped here for brunch as it’s one of the restaurants in Beaufort where you can dock your boat and eat. The shrimp and grits dish was savory and melt in your mouth kinda thing. The grouper bites appetizer was fair sized portion and had light breading. The service was great. Will come back to try other items.

We stopped in for a Good Friday lunch. The service was excellent and the food was better. The grouper bites were spot on. My grouper cake sandwich and my wife’s salad were excellent. On top of that, the views of Taylor Creek are super.

First time here last night. I have to say that all of the food was absolutely amazing. It was really busy, and they accepted us 45 mins prior to closing. Another establishment said it was an hour wait.

Can’t beat the location! We sat outside on a sunny cool day. Perfect weather! Our salad and drinks hit a spot. Service was friendly but not really present.

Came without a reservation for dinner, and expected to have a wait, but they were able to get me right in!! Mr Josh was my server and was very nice! My food was superb! Usually, my steak is hit or miss, as I like it well done; However, my steak here was one of the VERY BEST I have ever had- my compliments to the chef!!

First time trying them out and was not disappointed. Menu with options other than seafood, which is always good. The Pimento Burger was delicious! Staff were attentive and the atmosphere was pretty laid back. And of course as always while in Beaufort it’s always nice to eat outside looking over the water.. you could catch glimpses of all sorts of wildlife from the dinner table.

We came here on recommendation from the captain of one of the island excursion boats. He highly recommended it so we thought we would give it a try. While it was not the best overall experience (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) I’ll definitely say the food was **exquisite** all around. The portions were fair, the quality of the ingredients was top notch, and the flavor was truly superb. I ordered the pork chop, which was delicious in its own right, but the potatoes and gravy that came along with it were probably the best flavored version of that dish I’ve ever had. Everyone in our party agreed that their food was especially delicious. The experienced lacked on two fronts: 1. What felt like a small menu and 2. The service. The menu was small but, most importantly, it offered very few traditional options, and the ones offered were quite expensive. The service from our waiter was not terrible but not as good as it could have been. The restaurant had other patrons bit very few comparatively and several wait staff so plenty of people to handle the few diners there. We only ordered water for beverages and only got refills once, and even then only after we specifically asked for it. There was not much enthusiasm in the service or real attentiveness. With so many other options to try nearby, I wouldn’t expect to visit again until trying out others. Unless, of course, I was suddenly in the mood for another delicious porkchop!
