Front Street Cafe was bought by Bob and Laurie Turner in August 1998 and is a family owned and operated business. Known for homemade Chicken and Dumpling soup, biscuits and gravy, extra large rolls, our in-house baked turkeys and beef (served in our hot sandwiches), Bob’s homemade Meatloaf and Chow Mein dinners. We have a full menu that includes breakfast and lunch/dinner as well as lunch specials and soup and sandwich specials.

Passing Baxter I asked for recommendations for breakfast and a lot of people recommend Front Street Cafe. I’m really glad I come here it doesn’t look fancy it’s pretty quiet breakfast is good and service is friendly and polite. Biscuits and gravy are so tasty one of the best I tried. Great food good service and quiet atmosphere,not to forget just cash of checks and prices are fair.
