I’m from Texas and even though it can’t beat real Texas bbq it’s still in the same class. Those ribs were fall of the bone, the brisket was a lil cold tho that’s why the star deduction (in their defense it was a slow day, to which it started picking up when I got there) portions were amazing too! Ok so the real winner here was the gumbo. Honorable mentions were the chicken nugs, Mac n chz, collard greens and candied yams

Chicken had a spice on it I didn’t care for. Fried shrimp were small and hard. Advertised Fried oysters, were not any. Ribs were good, brisket some pieces were good, others not so. Liked the vegetables. Desserts were wiped out until we were leaving and then they brought out fresh pans. Really wouldn’t recommend. $16 a person. Not a good deal because of the quality. Would not recommend this place.

This was my first time eating here. It definitely will not be my last. I walked in and the dining room was quite busy on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was sort of a grandma’s kitchen sort of feel with wooden chairs and tables. I had zero wait time and was seated immediately. Sharon was my server and did a fantastic job. The food was hot. I mean actually hot and not lukewarm like other buffets. And it was all seasoned just perfect. I had ribs, bbq chicken, greens, corn, black eye peas with green beans, and fried okra. I feel like I’ve finally found the buffet of my dreams. The dessert buffet was small but I don’t usually do much dessert in the first place. The experience here was leaps and bounds better than another buffet in town that I have gone to. Will be going back again. And again.

Let me admit up front, I don’t like buffets any more than pot-luck but I wasn’t the only one deciding what was for lunch. I wish it was a little more tight, having staff serve the various dishes, call me a germ freak. The food was ok, and the Ice cream machine worked. The woman working the register was very professional and polite. I really liked the woman who was serving drinks as they knew precisely what my friends grandparents wanted. It give the place a small town feeling, something I enjoyed very much.

The service was great, waitress name was Sharon and she was very helpful. We was in town for a funeral service. And we all stop as one large family to eat there, And she had to wait on a large table. Her service was very excellent, the fool was very great. Next time we are in town, We will surely look this place up.

Food was surprisingly good. The dining area can use some upgrades. Not sure who the owner is but the crew seemed off especially this one guy guarding the ribs like he was a general. More smiles would be welcome. Overall for the price the food was good. The red bean’s and rice was the #1 choice!

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. We went on a Sunday and got there early so no waiting. By the time we left, the place was jam-packed, and still the buffet stayed full and we never had to wait for our waitress.
