An old American family dine in. A good place to spend with your kids, as they offer good variety of ice cream desserts. . Overall all the other food is not really tasty, and I think is even not cooked there, but taken from boxes. Like not real mashed potatoes, clam chowder, turkey gravy, even turkey if it really was turkey, was oversalted. Also very limited variety of drinks.

Nothing brings back childhood memories like the classic Friendly’s atmosphere with the iconic ice cream mug in front holding the classic Jim Dandy.

This is are hotspot for ice cream all year so it unfair to only review the bad time but this last time I got skimmed on the ice cream and they charge extra for jimmys. I will try again but hope this was a one time thing. Other trips the ice cream is very good. Just don’t get chocolate sauce on your ice cream they put way to much on it.

So this is my daughters favorite place to go for food and ice cream. Service and atmosphere is great as always and food is always on point. The only reason I didn’t give food 5☆ is because they changed their style of fries and it doesn’t taste good at all, but other than that everything else is good.

Have not been to a Friendly’s for awhile. My grandson wanted a Fribble? I remembered from days gone past the hotdogs were good here. The order came, the hotdog was about 3″ long and $7.95, the Fribble was $8.95. I must be old, $20 With tip for a milkshake and tiny hotdog was a surprise

I’ve always loved Friendly’s and worked here (rte 18 weymouth) when I was in HS… miss u Reggie! I got the cobb salad, and it was delicious. Everything was super fresh, and the dressing was perfect. My mom also enjoyed her hot dogs and onions strings, lol! Great fam place, atmosphere = 3 only b/c there was a super unprepared mum there that day that hogged the only ladies toilet for a half hour, while a line formed outside the door. Also a great way to support your local businesses as Frienly’s is HQ in Wilbraham, MA!

It’s changed quite a bit since I was in highschool wich was when this was popular for me I’m now 30’s the Braintree location closed we got burgers some apps and chicken fingers and fries the tenders were a bit small .$16 with fries burgers with fries close to $18 and $20 depending on toppings but the patties were easily half the size of when we started going here and may have been frozen pre made Patties before they we’re large hand made beef patties really disappointing the appetizers and ice cream were the best particularly the ice cream was good and a large portion with the brownie the apps were nothing special or large portions but we’re moderate. With all that we used to love this place I went with my grandparents like we used to but this time after words it was a special occasion my Grandfather apologized even though I picked it and said that place sucked were going to take you guys to another restaurant soon ! As I was with my fiance it was for my birthday cost all together was around $100 and we gave a $20 tip because the waitress was servicing half the restaurant wich was full. And the tables are very small.

I hadn’t been to Friendly’s in awhile so figured I would divert from Dairy Queen for once and try it. Not impressed. The ice cream is quite bland and nothing spectacular. The location is also quite dirty and unkept. However, the wait staff is very nice.

My kids love Friendly’s so we was near by this location went here everything was going fine to Christine G the Server was helping us, we put in our order and waited 10 min or so other people came in they got there drinks and we was the last to get our drinks . I ask her why did it take so long for us to get our drinks when we was here before the other guest. That was my only problem I had the food was great . Service was not that great . Will bring the kids again hopefully things will change .

This is the 2nd restaurant in my whole life that I had to walk out. Both are South Shore restaurants actually and the other one closed down a few years ago, good! Anyway, I went to this Friendly’s with my brother recently. We were told to seat ourselves (fine). No one ever came by to take our order or ask if we want drinks. It was not busy there either so they don’t have any excuse. Finally, I suggested we leave and go elsewhere. Clearly we were not welcome there. Maybe because we are people of color. Maybe because we didn’t have kids to demand timely service. But hey, whoever our server would have been sure missed out because my brother gives outrageously big tips to servers!!! Oh well, their fault. I complained in the Friendly’s survey link the owner mentions to some of the reviews, still no response of course. I loved Friendly’s for so many years and I was so sad at the locations closing. But after this, I want this Weymouth location to close down!
